Stay Duration: 19th March 2025 – 23rd March 2025||Stay Type: Family||Room Type: Deluxe Twin||||We recently stayed at The Quarter Ladprao by UHG during our family vacation to Bangkok, and overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience. Here’s a detailed review of our stay:||||Pros: The hotel is strategically located in Ladprao, right opposite the UHG Mall and very close to the BTS Phahon Yothin station. This made commuting to popular tourist spots, shopping malls, and other attractions extremely convenient. There’s also a 7-Eleven store conveniently located on the ground floor, which was helpful for quick snacks, water, or any essentials.||||Our Deluxe Twin Room was quite spacious and well-maintained, giving enough space for a family stay without feeling cramped. The city view from the room was decent, and the overall ambiance was clean and modern.||||The swimming pool area was well-kept, and we enjoyed spending time there after a long day of sightseeing. The gym facility was clean, equipped with essential machines, and perfect for those who want to maintain their fitness routine during travel. Additionally, the common areas in the hotel were neatly maintained.||||A special mention to the hotel staff – everyone we interacted with was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. The room service was prompt, and requests were addressed efficiently.||||One of the unique attractions, especially for families traveling with kids, was the Kids Counter in the lobby area. They had a small corner stocked with biscuits and popcorn available 24/7, which was a sweet touch and a definite highlight for our child.||||Cons: The main area of improvement would be the breakfast spread. While the food quality was okay, there was a lack of variety and limited options, especially if you’re staying for multiple days. The same dishes were repeated most days, and there wasn’t much for kids or international travelers who might expect more choices.||||Overall Verdict: If you’re looking for a family-friendly, well-located, and affordable hotel in Bangkok with good amenities and courteous staff, The Quarter Ladprao by UHG is a solid option. It strikes the right balance between comfort and convenience, especially for those who plan to travel around the city using...

Read moreI’ve been to Bangkok few times and stayed at few different hotels. But this is the first time I’ve stayed at The Quarter Ladprao for 2 nights and it’s the first time I can easily said out loud that the next time I’m back in Bangkok, I will stay here again. Why?
The hotel location is excellent. Extremely convenient to access MRT. Literally 1-2 minutes walk from hotel, and 10 minutes walk to Central Ladprao. Probably the best shopping mall experience for me without the overcrowded tourists. That is if you don’t mind staying few MRT or BTS stops away from the most touristy parts of central Bangkok.
From the moment we checked in to when we checked out, I found the staff service as good and as friendly as the other 5 stars hotel I’ve stayed. Housekeeping is good. Room felt nice and clean each time we were back in the room. The only issue was the towels. They were old and worn out. Even the towels at the pool were the same. Old and worn out. The mattress was very comfortable. We slept well on both nights. However the noise along the corridor and other guest rooms can be easily heard even when inside the room because there was no carpet flooring to absorbs the noise. The good thing is that we had an end room. It helps as our room 912 was the furthest away from the lifts and the corridors. I could imagine what it will be like if the room is in the middle of the corridor.
There were some construction noises when we were there, as the hotel is doing some renovation work below our floor. It wasn’t too bad, as we were out mostly. The room has a nice medium size fridge and there is a 7-Eleven on the ground floor outside the lobby. Extremely easy. Big C is 15 minutes walk along the main road with few eating places nearby.
We have daily breakfast included. The choices available were good. Happy with the breakfast.
Good size swimming pool which I did laps each morning. Nice to see real grass, a couple of swinging chairs and hammocks. Excellent gym with really good fitness equipments.
The concierge service was good too with the staff helping with luggages.
Lastly, the main reason I chose this hotel on this trip is the convenience getting to Krung Thep Apiwat central station for our long distance train trip. It couldn’t have...
