However there was some visible mold on the grouting in the shower, which I understand is common but stops the room from obtaining a full score.Location: 5/5. The location is perfect if you have a good sense of direction. Rounding the corner from Pathon Yothin station and walking about 100m you will find a footbridge that will take you across the road to the hotel. Google maps doesn't recognise this so will direct you much further down the road.Service: 5/5. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is an automatic check in machine but the member of staff did it all on my behalf.Amenities: 4/5. Read moreWe stayed here for one week, selecting this hotel as it was “near” a hospital where my wife was having surgery. ||Good room for the price, good breakfast and friendly staff. Three boxes ticked.||However…. CU Inn sits at the apex of a major transport interchange, meaning you have no less than 15 lanes of road and highway right out front. This fact, combined with an array of one way streets, blocked roads, forced u-turns and other Maurits Escher-inspired urban planning, means that everything that appears “near” is actually quite far. ||Not one taxi driver had ever heard of this hotel, even when we showed them the address written in Thai.
