Kai Bae Beach Resort — Hotel in Ko Chang

Rooms were really lovely. We had a bottom floor with entrance onto a swimming pool, which meant you had your own 2 deck beds reserved and area. Good aircon, great shower and lovely chill vibes. We had breakfast included the first morning. we didn't eat until around 10 am, and it wasn't great, so we skipped the second morning. On the third, we were leaving early, so we decided to avail as was just handy. The breakfast was so much nicer. So I would recommend if getting breakfast to get up early as its alot nicer when fresh than having been left there for a few hours as it doesn't seem like they cook fresh to refill all cooked first thing and left there. The one biggest downfall was the staff, unfortunately, which we didn't find very friendly or helpful. We had a motorbike accident one of the days and went in to reception to ask for advice. One man came out and took photos and video called back in the others which were laughing at our misfortune (by the way we were injured also) in the end they done nothing and just simply told us to go back down to the shop with the bike. We were very disappointed with the staff as it felt like this place was trying to market itself as luxury, but certainty, if staff are going on this way, it is not luxury. While it would have been okay, they couldn't help or offer advice . Laughing and taking photos at our misfortune was really disrespectful. Два бассейна, один с горкой и джакузи Второй огромный бассейн везде глубина 1.20 и он переходит в джакузи и зону для детей 0.6м. Много разных лежаков. Много зон джакузи От воды хлоркой не воняло не грамотно сделанный бассейн, вход только с одной стороны, а куда выливается вода это как бы зона для детей. вход в бассейн только с одной стороны, при таком то объеме. This is a perfect resort. The staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone was beyond friendly. Check in was a breeze. Pool side restaurant was well staffed, friendly, and the food and drinks were all top notch. Everything about the property and the room was perfect.

The pros: The best beach side massage ever. Unreal. Amazing and bountiful breakfast spread that changed daily. (Lots of fresh fruit!!) Great bar with really good coffee choices and great shakes -Easy, easy, easy—-the staff here go above and beyond, and do it with smiles on their faces!

Stay here. The location is unbeatable and so close to a great strip of local restaurants, shops and bars. Kai Bae is great!! But this resort and it’s staff will make you want to stay put.

Bonus: Mr A is working on an amazing mural to be completed near the pool. We need to come back to see the final result!!
