One of the nicest places I’ve ever been!!! 100% recommend! Amazing view, interesting drinks and wonderful staff.
We weren’t sure what a “dirty” but they didn’t quite know how to explain. We then ordered it non the less and a few minutes later the barista came to ask if it tastes good and explained what exactly the drink is made of. Afterwards we were taking pictures and he gave us advice from where to take the best pictures. He also was so happy over the tip we gave him and asked us if we are sure even tho it was just a small amount. He even offered us free water when we were leaving. Such an amazing place!
We had a cheese drink with peach and berries which was very interesting and a caramel dirty.
Prices aren’t as cheap as in other places (80-120 baht for a drink) but you pay for the view as well as the interesting creations.
It’s kind of hard to get up the mountain tho, be careful if you are on a scooter because the street has many rocks...
Read moreThe best view point for Kai Bae, a young Thai couple have put a lot of work into this during covid, and worth the search I had a random Thai guy show me the Road (second road back from the beach) and the climb to the Mount View Point, look for the signs as the road was laid by themselves google maps will take you to the base only, you can see the wood structures on top of the hill from the Road. No pressure to purchase from the cafe they run but please do and tip well. Now sunsets will depend on clear skies or sparse clouds, But the night sky is uninterrupted by light we were there when Jupiter and Saturn were visible. and the owner has some great images of the...
Read moreThe owner of the cafe was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The view from the cafe is good and exposed nature of the seating makes it quite exciting to sit down on the deck areas. There are no chairs so keep in mind if you visit with older people who may have trouble sitting on the floor. We all came on our scooters and the road was a bit scary with passengers on the back and there had been heavy rain the night before. The owner kindly offered to take some of the bikes down for us and gave my family a lift in his pick up to the bottom of the hill. He didn't want any money for this but we were happy to pay him as he was doing us a big favour. He explained that he had built the cafe himself with the help of his father. It's pretty minimalist at the moment and it will be interesting to see how the place will develop over time. Definitely...
