Location : Perfect place where you can hear the sea, see the sky instead of loud music and party lights. Also one of the best sunset spots on islands.

Info : Resort provides free boat from port for direct reservation. (Calculate wisely before booking) 15 mins by bike from main port. 200 baht one way taxi. 400 baht daily bike rental. Unable to park at resort, steep hill between parking and resort (500m)

Room : We got D4 which can see the sea and have balcony. Room size is perfect , cozy design. Very good shampoo and shower gel, bed is good size and quality.

Info : A bit steep to walk to the room but fun for us. Can smoke on balcony.

Facility : Resort provides you many activities for free one hour each. Kayak, SUP board, Canoe. Also have a cutie beach bag to take around the island.

Food : Good breakfast, have maple syrup. Coffee is good for people who like mid-roasted beans (acidity) but not sooo my taste.

Staff : Very good service, polite and friendly. Most of them are cambodian but who cares, humanity matters for us. Overall, I would recommend and definitely come back to Kerala Resort again.

Rooms are very very outdated.

Air condition blows directly on bed and one cannot avoid it. If you leave the room all electric devices stop working.

Bed linen and pillows are synthetic. There is no reading light.

Furniture on the terrace is uncomfortable. Light on the terrace cannot be turned off. Reading outside in the evening is quite impossible.

Safe, shower and toilet worked properly. However, it is forbidden to throw paper in the toilet 😱.

Lots of mosquitoes, but no net. 10+ bites/night should be expected.

Breakfast is somewhat ok. If you look for butter, they have none, just margarine. “Juices” are all artificial. Dishes are good.

Food a la carte is good. Prices about double compared to coast prices.

Staff was kind and helpfull. However an incident marked whole stay: Last morning I accidently spilled some coffee over the bed linen. I reported it to the staff. Staff said for some reason they cannot wash it 🤡. Which I do not believe. Then they were talking about huge expenses to carry the linen to shore to clean it 🤡. Finally they decided to charge me as if I ruined the linen completely and new linen is...

We only had dessert here and had the banana pancake and a bear. The pancakes and ice cream were ok but nothing overly special and not cooked in the way I would make them. Though I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay on the resort if you are just after a romantic get away on a quiet beach. One tip don’t trust Agoda or booking dot come as you can get a room here for around 2800 baht with breakfast included and speed boat pickup and drop off from the mainland. We asked them their room prices out of curiosity. So book directly with them to save a lot of money. There ocean here is also beautiful to swim in, calm and great for snorkeling: it’s abit away from the major tourist section of the island though so renting a motorbike or using local buses would be recommended.
