Overall 2 stars—only because I don’t want to be the reason their rating tanks. But honestly? They didn’t earn it.
I wish I could tell you how the food or drinks were, but alas, we never got the honor of trying them—and here’s why:
We arrived around 4:40 PM, coming from the beach, looking for a nice spot to sit, have a drink, maybe a bite, and enjoy the view for an hour before dinner. Sounds reasonable, right? Wrong.
The place was nearly empty, yet when we politely asked for a table, the staff gave us a firm: “Sorry, fully booked.” Oh really?
Funny, because I saw the little paper name tags on the tables—bookings all marked for 17:45, 18:00, 18:15. We literally said: “Hey, we’ll be gone before that, just need one hour.” Still a robotic “No, fully booked.” Right, because the ghost of customer service past said so.
So what did we do? Walked next door. Warm welcome, smiling staff, great vibes—ended up spending nearly 5,000 THB for two. You’re welcome, neighbor.
Here’s the best part: when we walked back past this place—still empty. Tables reserved for guests that apparently don’t exist yet, and real, paying guests turned away. Genius.
Message to management: If your strategy is to stay half empty in the name of “reservations,” and your staff’s main skill is saying no, you might wanna rethink your business model. Or at least train your staff to recognize the difference between “fully booked” and “we just don’t feel like working today.”

Read moreThai restaurant with beautiful ocean shore beach views. Small, quaint indoor ac dining area with places outside to eat and relax as well. However, service was surprisingly very slow. There was only one other table of people here and it took 45 minutes for my wife to get her sweet and sour seabass soup and then there was no seabass in it, so back to the kitchen it went. The people at the other table kept calling waiters over with more food requests while we were still waiting for our food. I felt it so rude and made my wife and me want to walk out. In the end the food was really very good. So, the big question is would we come back here again and would I recommend it? Yes, sure, why not. Every place can have a bad "off" day and the food certainly warrants a second chance. So, give it a try. I don't enjoy giving low ratings, but for this...
Read moreYes, the location is awesome, especially for sunsets. The venue obviously has been remodelled and has a very nice and comfy patio with a lot of cushions. I only tried the coconut shrimp which were overcooked and dry. The chicken wings I ordered, too, were delivered 20 minutes later - and were overcooked and dry as well. The San Miguel came in a glass and without slice of lime. No napkins were offered, but I found some on a different table. There's a million mosquitoes and no "countermeasures" like at other places. I'm getting bitten often, so I'm kind of used to the "bzz bzz", but there is clearly an infestation that can make the stay VERY unpleasant. I didn't try the cocktails but found them overpriced. Those are not show stoppers but don't make the place a 5-star venue. And yes, everyone is very...
