I only stayed for 1 night as i had to fly early next morning from USM Airport. My room was on the 1st floor with a balcony and a nice view over the garden. My only complaint for this stay would be the room - some of the furnishing looked a bit worn down and old. My bedside lamps for example, one barely worked and the fabric of the lamp was very worn. Moreover i had an issue when showering that the water was too hot for me and i wasn‘t able to adjust the temperature. (Only 1 lever to turn water on/off)
Lastly, and the reason why i decided to give only 3 stars, otherwise it would be 4*, is because when waking up in the morning i had an insect in bed with me, next to my pillow. Since i wasn‘t sure what it was, i reverse searched it and it looks like it‘s some type of wood/forest cockroach. 😟 I was pretty disgusted and worried when i noticed it after waking up, so i quickly killed the insect and disposed it in the trash, so the next guest won‘t have a bad surprise like me… To clarify: i didn‘t stay in any Hostels during my Thailand holiday and i definitely didn‘t bring this insect with me. I also never left the balcony door open, so it must‘ve already been inside the room when i checked in.
Just to be clear, i generally liked the room, the balcony view was nice, towels and bed sheets were clean. Staff wasn’t too friendly, especially compared to other Hotels in Thailand. I would‘ve notified staff about the issues i had, but since i had to leave that early, reception was still closed and i wasn‘t able to communicate these issues.
I would‘ve liked to give 4* (5 stars if the issues mentioned in room are fixed) but the cockroach in bed is just very unsettling.
Edit: After the reply of the arrogant owner i have to reduce my review to 1* star. I‘m not trying to ruin your business, i just gave constructive criticism after my 1 night stay in the superior room i booked. How is staying 1 night irrelevant?! If you have cockroaches in your rooms, old and worn down furniture, can‘t change the water temperature in the shower, it doesn’t matter at all if a guest stays 1 night or 1 week.
Absolutely arrogant and...
Read moreJust beware of insensitive guest relations person. I’m always a believer of no matter how well the hotel is kept, the service makes a huge difference.
I initially approached the hotel politely, requesting a refund due to unforeseen illness—something I rarely do. While they eventually refunded my booking, the way they handled the situation was completely unacceptable. Instead of responding professionally, they were defensive, dismissive, and unnecessarily aggressive, even resorting to threats.
Their response made it clear that guest relations are not a priority. When I pointed out that rooms were still available (contrary to their claim that someone else could have booked it), they lashed out further, telling me never to book with them again. It’s clear they are operating from frustration, likely due to low bookings—and now I see why.
If you value respectful and professional service, be cautious when booking here. A hotel’s true character shows not just when things go smoothly, but when issues arise—and unfortunately, this one...
Read moreWas perfect for a couple! We stayed in the superior double room, it was spacious and exceptionally clean. The room felt quite warm and happy, was worried it’d feel outdated but it didn’t at all. Reception keep human hours but they’re very responsive in WhatsApp if you’re checking in or out, outside of normal hours. We had an early morning flight and they arranged a taxi for us at a very reasonable price (400B). We didn’t stay for the breakfast or use the amenities but it’s perfect for families, there were quite a few staying there enjoying the pool which looked fun. Good thing for us, we didn’t hear any other guests it was quiet and peaceful at night. The air conditioning and hot water worked incredibly well, all round great stay for a great price! Would come back here in a heartbeat.
One thing to note, we rented a motorbike across the road, Nit rentals (passport or 10,000B deposit, 250B/day), otherwise it’s a bit of a walk to the main areas (15min). But the restaurant near it Mr Eung Seafood was AMAZING. Definitely recommend...
