My husband and I have stayed many times at Horizon Villas near Bohput simply because they are beautiful modern villas in a great location. We always stay at 25g Siam Noi as it has everything we need and it is simply stunning. We have looked at other villas in this complex and they are all beautiful - well maintained and all individual too so there is a variety of choices depending on how many are staying and what you prefer. The grounds are also beautiful and well maintained ed as they have a large amount of gardening staff so it always looks it's best!||||The staff At Horizon Villas are all wonderful, professional, kind and helpful. The villa has everything you would need for a luxury stay - stunning large pool, spacious interiors all bedrooms have air con and en suites. the master bedroom has a bath too. The kitchen is well equipped even has a washing machine if you need to wash clothes. The gardens on this villa and others are well maintained with an abundance of beautiful flowers and birds.||||The pool is large and-immaculate - you can actually swim! Not just a dipping pool. All rooms over look the pool and there is a large sala where we dine on an evening. This villa has its own BBQ too.||||On the Horizon Villa complex is a great gym which is free to use for guests and also a tennis court for hire. ||||After a short walk from the entrance there is Cheong Mon beach - a vast white sandy beach, which is never over crowded and is clean and safe. You can access this via the Sala hotel entrance. Also you will find in the village a lovely variety of bars and restaurants with plenty of dishes to choose from - Thai, Indian, Italian and Chinese - all are great good and very low prices. ||||Taxis into Bohput or Chaweng ( if you wanted something livlier) are cheap and safe. Cheong Mon village is quieter than Chaweng which is what we prefer and easy walking distance from Horizon Villas.||||All in all Horizon Villas is the perfect location to relax and unwind - which is why we keep returning to the same place and the same villa. We are never disappointed with the staff and service we receive from Horizon ! We can't wait to return!...

Stayed here for two weeks and what can I say but you will never tire of the views from the pool. The villa looks out over Choeng Mon beach and you can see this little island to the right that has the Cape Fahn hotel on. Such an amazing spot to sun bath or chill out under the cool covers with fans dinner area. It’s also a sun worshippers dream as gets the sun all day long. I once stayed in a villa where by 2pm the whole pool area was in the shade.
Whilst we were there we rented scooters from the complex which is very easy and reliable. There is a gym on site too which I used daily which was fully equipped. There is also a tennis court for those wanting to play. The villa complex is stunning and well maintained and whilst there were lots of other villas it still feels incredibly private.
The master bedroom has a huge bathroom with dual sinks and even a bath. The two other rooms are both the same size and have en-suites so plenty of privacy for a total of six people, you’d just be arguing over who gets the master bedroom! The living space is huge and divided into a kitchen with everything you need (oven, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, smoothie maker!).
We also used the villa complex to get a chef in who was a Thai lady that cooked us some pretty good home cooked food both for dinner and breakfast as one day we had been out all day on a boat and didn’t fancy going back out. There was so much food we had leftovers for lunch the next day!
I have stayed in various hotels and apartments and villas on Koh Samui and the choice of whether to stay in a hotel or villa is really down to what do you want to get out of it. If you want to be waited on hand and foot then yes I totally get a hotel, I love them too. If you want freedom, your own pool, your own space, come and go as you please and feel like you live on the island then a villa for me is the way forward. I’d highly recommend this...
Read moreWe stayed in one of the newest villa with a group of friends and really enjoyed our stay there and had a great time overall in Koh Samui. Koh Samui is a great island to visit for 6-8 days so you have enough time to go around and explore every part of the island. When it comes to location Horizon Villas is probably one of the best place to pick as you are literally a few hundreds meter away from the beach which basically took me and my friends about 1 and half minute on the motorbikes we rented during our stay. You are also a short drive from the main nightlife area of Chaweng with good places to party and meet people and also fairly close from fisherman's village, don't miss out on the friday walking street! good fun with street food and cheap cocktails!||When it comes to the property itself, large bedrooms for everyone no dispute on who gets which room always a plus when you are travelling in group and good quality overall around the place. The view is to blow your mind with the lovely island and a very nice sunrise as we saw a few of them coming back late (or early :-) ) to the villa. The development also has a gym and a tennis, we didn't use the tennis to be honest as too hot in the afternoon but the gym was nice for us as we used it a few times and it has air-condition.||The people of the development were very nice and friendly offering good advice and service. Only negative point would be the lack of some fruits or little snacks when you check-in the villa as it would be a nice touch but it did not change our experience during the stay. The cleaning team was also nice always asking before throwing stuff away as we are not the tidiest of people when on holidays (had bad experience with this in the past).||I would recommend a stay there without hesitation. Little tip, ask for a discount on the airport transfer with both ways for the price of one ;-)||Enjoy Koh...
