Overpriced First the pros: Nice pool, very nice reception staff, Gail, who answers pronto on email and is very service minded. Rooms are clean and free of bugs and odour. 15 minutes from the airport. Cons: The place is about 600 meters from the sea. There is nothing to the left but rural, dirty lots on the way to the beach. Walking right, towards the main road you'll pass some aqua cultures with shrimps. And garbage. There is about 800 meters to the first restaurant where you can have a coffe. The pictures you see on the website are genuine but only from one side. When you sit on the balcony (if you've got a poolview room) you look out on a miserable place with two or three huts and a jungle behind. No restaurant, no breakfast, you have to buy everything you need from the minimarts one kilometer away and prepare on your own. That's what "breakfast in room" means (as stated on website). The advantage is that the boss has a very good service attitude and speaks English very well. He is happy to recommend places to play. It's a beautiful accomodation nestled between the beach, the local temple and the main street. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable and the bedding is very clean. There is ample space for storing clothes and mirrors for checking makeup and outfits. The kitchenette and balcony are quaint yet comfortable. The table set and television are welcome additions. Each room is within a stone's throw of the decently sized swimming pool and sunbathing area. The property also holds a sizeable gym and various outdoor sitting areas. Bicycles are available for ease of travel around the area but are certainly unnecessary as everything is within 5 to 15 minutes walking distance. The maid service is prompt and thorough.
