I was a little worried after I booked reading the many negative reviews. Whilst some I agree with our stay was still enjoyable although not perfect. For the price we paid, 1275 baht per night the hotel was acceptable. We wanted to extend our stay one night the price at check in desk is 4000b per night. Online was now 3800b per night. So we didn't. The sheets and towels were clean at check in. Although the sign says sheets are changed daily unless put sign on bed.. we didnt put sign on bed and they were not changed. They also only changed one towel. I think the housekeeping really need more training. The floors are very dirty with black feet marks on the floor. Also the balcony was extremely dirty. I watched housekeeping clean the room opposite us at check out as both our doors were open and there was no mopping with soapy water hense why the floors are so dirty.. The amenities are enough with 2 of everything except toilet paper.. only 1 small roll no backup... Not something you want to run out of. The pool was ok. There were a few broken tiles as mentioned in other reviews but overall not so bad.. The 4y/o child enjoyed the kids room There is a night market just a couple minute walk from hotel and another across the road from that... It has a large range of food, drinks and clothing/souvenirs It's almost 3km walk to Bangla road which would take the average person 30 mins. A moterbike taxi would be 100 baht each way or a tuk tuk about 300 baht+ each way We didn't have breakfast or anything from the kitchen as seemed expensive the special for a sandwich chips and free coke was 280 baht People complained about paper thin walls. We did not notice much noise.. we could hear neighbor though interconnecting door which both rooms had but was not so bad. There is pool view & ocean view.. the ocean is quite far. I think I prefer the pool view. Overall For 1275 the room was acceptable as a 3 star property. If I had paid more expecting a 5 star property I would be disappointed.

Fishermen’s Harbour Urban Resort, nestled in the vibrant enclave of Patong, Phuket, aspires to offer an urban sanctuary for discerning travelers. The resort’s proximity to Patong Beach and local markets is frequently lauded, providing guests with convenient access to the island’s vivacious attractions. The accommodations are designed with contemporary aesthetics, featuring commodious rooms equipped with modern amenities. Guests have expressed appreciation for the spaciousness and ventilation of the rooms, with balconies offering tranquil retreats. The resort’s swimming pool and garden areas have been highlighted as noteworthy, providing serene environments for relaxation. The culinary offerings, particularly the expansive breakfast selections, have garnered positive remarks, with guests noting the variety and quality of the fare. The on-site restaurant serves a medley of international and local cuisines, catering to diverse palates. However, the resort’s service quality has elicited mixed reviews. While some guests commend the staff’s friendliness and helpful demeanor, others have reported inconsistencies in service delivery. Concerns regarding cleanliness and maintenance have also been documented, indicating a need for improved housekeeping standards. In summation, Fishermen’s Harbour Urban Resort presents a blend of modern comfort and strategic location. Prospective guests are advised to temper expectations regarding service consistency and cleanliness, as experiences appear to vary.

I recently stayed at Fishermen’s Harbour in Phuket, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. The moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, whose hospitality set the tone for the entire stay. They were always attentive, polite, and eager to help with anything I needed, whether it was guidance on local attractions or quick assistance with room requests. Their genuine care made me feel at home right away. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a perfect blend of comfort and style. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the swimming pool – it’s large, clean, and absolutely fantastic for relaxing after a day of exploring Phuket. Whether you want to swim or just lounge by the poolside, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the view from the balcony is just breathtaking. Waking up to such a perfect view every morning was a memorable experience. The property is also well-maintained, and the atmosphere feels calm and refreshing throughout. Breakfast and dining options were great, offering a good variety to suit different tastes. Combined with the convenient location, it makes the stay even more enjoyable as you’re close to Patong yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Overall, Fishermen’s Harbour exceeded my expectations. With excellent hospitality, a fantastic swimming pool, and an unbeatable view, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phuket. Truly a wonderful place to stay!

It was very bad experience. We booked the hotel for 2 days.. I have never seen such horrible staff in any hotel..

first of all its not a 5 star hotel , it's an apartment building running with minimal staff.

we booked king size bed deluxe rooms and after reaching here, we were given queen size beds room as all apartments rooms are similar.

we reached at 7 in evening and there was just one person to shift the luggage. He was extremely rude and was complaining continuously that we have lots of luggage and blah blah.. finally most of the luggage we had to carry ourself. If that person have requested to help him shifting luggage we would be very happy to do that but instead he was tone was rude and sarcastic.

rooms were clean and we were bit relaxed but than our ac broke. We called the reception and they send technician. It took 1 hr to fix the ac but eventually it worked. On second day it broke again at midnight and when I was sharing same with reception, he told me that I have send the technician. 10 mins later I called again as nothing happened and no technician came to room, that discussion was very poor.. I didn't expect such verbal response from them. Finally we got another room at 4 AM. It was really really tiring to shift and just to mentioned we had to carry the luggage too along with my son as there was just just 1 person from reception to carry the luggage.

breakfast was poor especially for vegetarian people. But i guess it's common issue accross other hotel apartment in Thailand.

this apartment hotel have huge fine on kissing glasses, cups and spoiled bed sheets which is i guess fine as guest are also culprit sometimes.. but in our case it was a bad experience.. we moved 2 glasses and a cup from 1 room to another family member room as we had 6 rooms booked.. we forget to place them back. During room verification at checkout, they mentioned that 2 glasses and a cup is missing but fail to agree that another room as 4 glasses and 3 cups.. finally we went back to rooms, took picture and shared same as they done have any staff to go and verify. Not sure who they send initially. The lady on reception rudely told us that we should keep the glasses back. If as family we have multiple rooms booked , the total count should be verified instead of individual rooms. Anyway it took almost 1 hr as they are extremely slow.

we checkout at 11:50 but all the formalities took another 39 minutes at reception and they claimed that we crossed the checkout limit and we have to pay for extra day. Finally we made them realise how slow they are in processing.

we have multiple bad experience in single encounter which is not a coincidence.

not sure if it's with everyone but I feel that we faced all such ill behaviour because we were Indians .. probably ..

this hotel is no where close to beach. Views from this hotel apartment is very normal.

I have more to share but i ma running out of words. Except pool and table tennis , nothing is good here. When u are on a family vacations, such incidents just spoil...

Staying in Fishermen’s Harbour is a story of 2 halves, on the day we checked-in the staff at the reception were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful, we had booked two rooms, one family suite and one deluxe room. When we asked for the rooms to be together, they said, each block has only one type of room, which is surprising, never heard of and don’t know how far is true. so as a group we were separated in two different buildings. When we entered the room, it felt like the room was not utilized for some time and not kept clean regularly as we could find dust all over the table tops, the washrooms were dirty and we even found a spider in one of the cupboards. When it was raised to housekeeping, they did bring in a full team immediately and cleaned the whole space thoroughly in a few minutes, and after that, for the entire duration of stay, the room was kept clean upto standard. We also had booked breakfast for the entire duration of day and breakfast was very very basic. In fact, disappointing as everything felt stale and not fresh. Which is very surprising for a hotel in Phuket. On the plus side, the family suite was very spacious, the beds were comfortable, it had two full washrooms with bath tubs. The location of the hotel was away from all the hustle and bustle, which is nice and peaceful and still close to everything that you need. The hotel’s swimming pool was open until late, I could see people in the pool until 11 PM and I guess the fitness center would also be open late for use. During the end a day before we were suppose to check-out,we again spoke to our friends at reception and managed to agree on a check out time of 1 PM and then on the day of checkout. They call the room 12:10 and tell us to get out as they need the room. When we said that we had agreed on a check out of 1 PM they said no they said the room is booked now and they need it, if not they would charge us extra money. If the room was booked, why would they say they will charge us. Overall staying in Fishermen’s Harbour was a mixed bag ,if they could only improve on the customer service, would definitely recommend the...
