OYO 75321 Gemma Patong — Hotel in Patong

Arrived at the hotel from an over night bus at 4am (was told and states on there description that it’s 24 hour check in). When we arrived the doors were shut and a number on the door to ring, after over an hour of calling the number a man eventually answered then drove down to the hotel and told us we had to pay an extra 700 baht if we wanted our room early (£15) plus the £25 for the night stay. 700 baht for 5 hours before we could officially check in is just a cheek!! ||||Anyway we paid it as it’s 5am and we wanted a couple hours sleep before wanting to do a tour as only on the island for 1 night. We asked if we could get a tour from there he replied yes come back to reception at 8am so we went to the room and set alarm for 8am when I went down there at 8am the man told me “later later” and walked away from me which meant we basically didn’t get chance to do any tour because he couldn’t be bothered to sell us one and tours start at 9am and no other tour company’s around. ||||Just a few heads up before you book this place:||- the man with the nose piercing is rude as anything! ||- the room was disgusting and smelt like poo. ||- the a/c was flooding the room and not working and reception just laughed. (It’s 35 degrees ffs) ||- there’s no lift so if your on floor 4 like we were good luck. ||- a deluxe room is tiny and dirty. ||- photos are not what it’ looks like... do not be fooled! ||- Hotel desk is NOT 24 hours, this will be a problem with your stay if your arriving the hours between 9am-10pm.||- not that close to Patong beach - 300 baht taxi away but that’s...

The hotel is very near to all the tourist attractions like Bangla market, patong beach and Malin plaza.. talking about the hotel. the hotel located right on the road and has 7/11 store just beside it .. the rooms are clean and the bed was cozy. the bathrooms are really clean. the guy at the reception is really good and he also arranged a trip for me at phi phi Island which costs around 1400 baht, and also gave me his bike for a ride for a couple of days in phuket for around 250 baht.. the hotel doesn't have lift though and I got a room which was on 4th floor room 404, which was quiet easy to climb for a youngster but for those with knee problems it could be a big task . the wifi is really good and view from the room was also good. the housekeeping take care of the rooms everyday. also got my laundry done. it was 50 baht per kg . The guy at reception is TK and he manages everything. he gave me his bike and I went to karon beach, kata beach, cape prom thep, rawai beach etc. the road here in Phuket are ghat section roads and very steep. ha e to be careful while riding bike or cars.

the property is really good and you can even get your thai girlfriend to the room. it's a wonderful budget hotel. had to pay 500 baht as a deposit which is refunded at checkout . go ahead and book it without any...

They say that it’s a cheap hotel that’s why they don’t offer any services. My opinion is that this is a poor place to stay in as the price is not that cheap comparing to other hotels within the same level.

First there is no elevator and no bill boy so you have to carry your luggage all the way on the stairs.

No phone in the room so don’t think of asking for anything from the hotel staff unless you go all the way down on the stairs.

View if I can call it a view is terrible because it’s almost connected to the next building so your view is the wall of the other adjacent building which literally you can reach it from your balcony.

Towels were dirty at the check in and AC will take few hours to start cooling.

Basically no service is provided at all except a bed...
