To the exceptional managing couple and staff at Greenery Hostel,
Firstly, My wife and I would like to say THANK YOU for your great hospitality to which most hotel and hostel greatly lack in Bangkok these days. You guys had turned our holiday experience from okay to GREAT in Bangkok.
The staff were incredibly helpful, and would go out of their ways to help, not only did they offered great advice around Bangkok for new travelers like ourselves but also provide genuine services which is a rarity these days.
The place is conveniently located behind a main road, which hides the hostel from the noisy night life and high-way noises, while it is also close to Phaya Thai BTS station, shopping more, and night market. (Very Rare to find any accommodation with such combination)
The room that we stayed in were incredibly clean, and the bathroom was also clean. The greenery yard which is located at the front of the hostel near the reception room was a greatly place to hang-out and relax for days that you feel like staying in. The yard not only offers a-little-get-away-place from the hectic Bangkok life but also offers a place where you can escape from the restricted feeling of staying in a confined room during your trip. Did I mention the free food and drinks? Yes, there is free food, snacks and drink in the yard (Awesome!).
Overall, I would greatly recommend staying at this hostel for those who are looking for a genuine and welcoming stay, and for those who are new to Bangkok.
With deep thanks, Leon and Tuyen Tang
PS: Thank You Greenery Hostel for welcoming My wife and I into your hostel, and providing us with one of the best stay experiences we ever had while staying in Bangkok. We will certainly be returning to your place again when we are returning to Bangkok in the future with Family...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Greenery Hostel in Bangkok and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Their warm hospitality set the tone for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The pricing was very reasonable, offering great value for the quality of accommodations and services provided. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including air conditioning, a private bathroom, and free Wi-Fi. The hostel’s attention to detail in ensuring guest comfort was evident throughout my stay.
Customer service was top-notch. The staff were always available to assist with any inquiries and provided detailed information about the local area, including nearby attractions and dining options. Their knowledge and willingness to help enhanced my overall experience in Bangkok.
The hostel itself is situated in a charming and peaceful area, offering a nice retreat from the bustling city. The common areas were inviting and well-designed, providing a perfect space to relax and socialize with fellow travelers.
Overall, Greenery Hostel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a friendly, affordable, and comfortable place to...
Read moreI found the place on Booking.com while finding a hostel with basic amenities, and at a reasonable price around BTS/ARL stations. 3 nights there costs about 3,400 bath.
It's a bit deep inside the alleyways, about 7-minute-walk from the main street, but it's super near 7-11s and is surrounded by local food stalls/restaurants.
I travelled alone so the deluxe room was quite spacious for me. There was free wifi (although a bit weak), bathroom with hot water (might be a bit small for some people), a working desk, a mini refridgerator, and a TV also. Rooms are cleaned and drinking water are refilled everyday. And the main courtyard is very green, with a lot of decorations and seats for you to do some work or just enjoy some time outside of your room.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out only take 5 to 10 minutes. For checking-in, they will ask for your signature on a document to register to the authorities I think.
The only drawback I think, was my room being near the staircases, and together with the walls being a bit thin, I can clearly hear people walking upstairs or closing the doors loudly. I would recommend the hostel to put sockets right at the foot of the working desk also.
Still, the above drawbacks are just trivial, and I would definitely choose this place again if I ever come back...
