PRIME TOWN POSH & PORT HOTEL - PHUKET — Hotel in Wichit

To be honest I am sad that I can’t put 5*stars for this hotel, but everything being “out of order” I can’t do it. I am not very sure why the owners have decided to open this hotel before everything is finished, because it just gives a costumer a very confusing experience. When we arrived we were told that the sauna is out of order, breakfast room is not finished, there is no poolside bar..basically a lot of things what are not finished, but when we booked it didn’t say in anywhere and was advertised as something that’s already there. When you arrive in a hotel and first thing you get is a row of bad news it makes you very disappointed. They told us that they will upgrade us in a better room, but actually the room they offered us was definitely NOT an upgrade. It had a smaller bed than the room before and there was no sitting area anymore. They were saying this is a more expensive room because it is one floor higher and has a view to the pool(!?) We told them that there is not even a couch anymore how can this be an upgrade? But they didn’t really understand what is our problem so they made us feel very stupid and we asked our previous room back, because that one was way better. They told us that pool view rooms don’t have couches in them, but later we saw that they did. But for sure we can say if you are thinking of booking and don’t care about the view then a superior mountain view room is better than the superior high floor room! In high floor pool view room you just have a hard bench and a queen bed instead of the king. They promised to make it all up to us ,but in the end they just ignored this situation and we were left in this “feeling stupid” situation. The other thing that happened with us a lot and we saw it also happening with others was that the keycard just stops working or doesn’t work from the beginning so you have to go to the reception a lot. Poolside bar and breakfast are they are still building,but what I saw they are probably going to be very nice. Sauna worked only one night and even then we didn’t have any lights inside and had to stay in a dark sauna what is not a problem , but still not a good sign..as the next day sauna was not working and in the end it went only until 40 degrees. Very disappointing. |But the bed was truly amazing and absolutely new - definitely recommended! The gym was very good with a very good equipment, so definitely pack your running shoes. Maybe in the future it would be nice if there would be some water available in the gym. The swimming pool was very good, but sadly they didn’t have different towels for the pool (probably also something to add in the future!) Also the mirror in the room is in a very dark spot and you should definitely add some lights there.|I think as a new and just opened place you should try to provide a better service, but I see if all the “mistakes” are fixed how it is going to be a very comfy place for a relaxing stay. If you go to stay there then have low expectations as they are still testing everything out and many things don’t work so you can have a better experience than we did||PS: Just across the road is 7/11 and there is a good restaurant called Anurak Food and they serve very nice...

I just come here from 19/2 and still stay bc already paid until 27/2. I cant sleep every night. People open and close the doors really cloudy even 3-4am and a lot sound like that around 11-12pm and they speak cloudy in lobby front of my room as well. Noise also come from the main street opposite to my room bc pp drive motorbike- the one with high speed- really fast here. Maybe the street is big and look like highway. Bed feel really small for 2 pp and feel something tiny bite my leg if i put them below the blanket while wearing a short. Location - i feel hard to find something to eat. Everyday I walk to the shopping center nearby to eat. I dont know why they said on their website best location and maybe some comments like that too but it feels abit hard. No food stores or night market in walking distance as i think ab Thailand or Asia bc i had that good experience in Bangkok and Pattaya, taiwan, singapore,.. also dont know any places nearby to visit so I paid for taxi everyday and taxi even dont want to drive at night from Patong to here bc it is far and looks dangerous.

I dont know how to improve this situation. Bc i feel really hard to fall asleep. I wake up at 3am tonight and cannot fall as sleep again until now. Then i write this. I wish to choose the room again in another hotel less stars, without pool but room looks bigger and more good reviews in booking.com. With same price or cheaper in 3 stars or less hotel, their room looks bigger with king bed or 2 single beds. Some hotel has kitchen for everyone too. Feel not worth for money or 4 stars service, compare with 2 other options i loose to book. I choose 4 stars service bc i want my mom has good experience here and yr pic looks so nice and luxury but we cannot even sleep. Feel really hard to fall as sleep, then wake up so many times at night bc of noise. Wifi also doesnt work with my phone but i can use 4G. It is better with my mom phone but sometimes it still stop. Housekeeper do service everyday. It is good. However i cannot expect the quick service to wipe every corner and floor properly. The main reason dust still here bc of the table and chair and floor accumulate dust before my check in. Then i put my stuff on table and chair and they cannot clean it. I think they should clean it again probably before guest come for check in. Not like do cleaning after they check out and leave it empty with dust until next person come.

All the bad reviews i read is true for ex stain in bathroom or bathroom door and wall near there is bad, old, mold. But im fine with that. I dont mind bc im not the owner to fix them.

But as customers i want to improve my sleep 😭 it is too NOISY and...

overall, it was an average experience—you get what you pay for right. The hotel offers the bare minimum in terms of comfort, but having access to the gym, sauna, swimming pool, and laundry facilities definitely made the stay more manageable.The rooms are cheaply made, and sound insulation is practically nonexistent. Every single noise from the hallway is loud and disruptive, from people talking to doors opening and closing. This made it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep, and I woke up exhausted every morning.Another thing you’re only allowed two towels, and you have to bring them downstairs yourself to exchange them. The same goes for any other amenities you need; you have to go down to the front desk to request them. The pool area lacks didnt have soap in the bathrooms. They also do not provide washcloths, so be sure to bring your own.The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. However, the cleaning staff was not as accommodating. When I asked for toilet paper, the cleaning lady was visibly irritated and slightly rude, which was surprising, as I had never encountered a Thai service worker with such a prickly disposition before.On a positive note, I did enjoy being able to watch the sunrise from my room—it was a nice touch. However, the constant noise and lack of sleep made my stay far less enjoyable than I had hoped. If you're looking for a budget stay with basic amenities, this hotel might work, but don't expect much beyond that.Would I stay again?...
