I recently had the pleasure of dining at Le Safran Restaurant, and I must say that it was an extraordinary culinary experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the restaurant's inviting ambiance and warm, elegant decor. The combination of soft lighting, tasteful artwork, and comfortable seating created an intimate and cozy atmosphere that was perfect for a delightful evening of fine dining.
Le Safran's menu boasts an impressive array of dishes inspired by turkish and Mediterranean cuisine, and each plate is a masterpiece in its own right. The chefs at Le Safran have truly mastered the art of flavor and presentation. Every bite was a harmonious blend of fresh ingredients, exquisite spices, and culinary expertise. Whether it was the succulent seafood, perfectly cooked meats, or the delectable vegetarian soup , each dish showcased the chef's attention to detail and commitment to quality.
The service at Le Safran was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the cuisine they served. They were more than willing to offer recommendations and provide insights into the dishes, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.
Le Safran also deserves praise for its attention to detail when it comes to dietary restrictions and preferences. They were accommodating to my grill mix request, ensuring that I had an equally satisfying dining experience. This level of thoughtfulness is truly commendable and adds to the overall appeal of...
Read moreUnfortunately, the service and food quality went down drastically! We acknowledge that going over a weekend is expected to be busy, but since I have visited this place very often back in 2021 and occasionally from time to time years after including weekends, Ramadan and special occasions when the restaurant is pretty full! This time was an absolute disappointment.
The food on the menu (breakfast for 2) was with low quality, cold and dry! Bread was not fresh, tea was not served, juice they changed the type without asking! And we didn’t get all what was listed and they brought the food in batches - some literally around 1 hour after the first dish was served.
The table was unclean, flies were all over the place (yes! Its close to the Lake!) but we were inside and Its not the first time the flies are all over the place.
Speaking of the service! When the waiters were super late to take our order, we called the one who looked like the one in charge, and he angrily said wait for the waiter to give your order (we seriously were about to leave at that moment due to his rudeness)! We have asked for plates to serve food - and the waiter said “finish your omlette and use the plate” when I show disagreement- he said this is how we serve breakfast! He finally brought us 2 unclean plates and of course delayed!
It used to be my favorite place and I am absolutely sad this has turned to be a...
Read moreWe used to love this restaurant, but after our recent experience, we will not be coming back. It used to be one of our go-to places, but our last visit was so disappointing. The service was abysmal, starting with the waiter, who was incredibly impolite. Right when we sat down, he suggested we bring a “meter of meat” to the table, and when we politely declined, explaining that most of us were vegetarian, he made a rude comment and gave us strange, judgmental looks for the rest of the night. Things got even worse when we went to pay. The waiter walked by and sarcastically said, “If everyone’s handling their own payment, I guess I should just resign since there’s no need for me to work here.” Completely unprofessional! The entire staff seemed uninterested and were openly eating in front of customers, which felt inappropriate and far from the level of service we expected. While the food was still decent, which suggests the chef might not have changed, the poor service completely overshadowed the meal. This used to be a great spot, but sadly, we won’t be back – especially not when we have guests visiting from out of town....
