Enerji Otel — Hotel in Çankaya

Disgusting hotel and rude staff. The rooms are so gross, very dirty, there was nose snot on my ceiling and walls, stains on every single wall and piece of furniture, my socks turned brown in just a few minutes of walking on the floor, the toilet seat and the flush button were broken, the sockets were hanging from the walls, there were paint stains everywhere. Also, even though there are signs that smoking is not allowed in the rooms, guests do and the ventilator pushes the smoke into other rooms. I got a headache from all the cigarette smoke that came into my room. Also, there is no air conditioning. Don't let the nice looking lobby fool you, this hotel is a dump and not worth the money. I cancelled my 7 day trip after 1 day because it was like something out of a horror movie, and the hotel didn't reimburse me even though they are the ones who are doing false advertising and refusing to clean their rooms or make sure visitors don't smoke (they even provide ashtrays, but it seems common in Ankara hotels and restaurants that there are signs saying "No smoking" but the same establishment also provides the...

I was staying in this hotel from March 16. Then I received a call from Russia embassy asking to urgently leave Turkey because the borders will be soon closed due to coronavirus.||||I have asked the reception manager to refund me for the days I'm not staying. Suddenly he doesn't speak English. He spoke English just fine all those days. He becomes very aggressive. This is a very cheap trick and clearly shows this hotel doesn't care about reputation.||||This was an emergency situation and profiting from a person in stress and fear is a horrible thing to do. A good hotel and a good manager would give the money back right away. This is blood money. I hope they're happy with their little profit.||||All other hotels accept cancellations and refund people in this crazy difficult time because they know people will eventually come back.||||I hope once the country is in full shutdown and this manager is out of job, he can use my money to buy himself food.||||I will give you bad reviews everywhere and warn the Russian tourist community to stay away...

All in all a standard 3* hotel with more cons than pros.||Pros:||Soundproof rooms||Good location to grab some food in the evening||Clean towels||The staff is friendly as long as there are no questions or tensions||||||Cons:||Sometimes noisy outside, which, combined with the next point is annoying||Bad conditioning, hence need to open windows||Hot water not always available (only warm sometimes - fine to take a shower, but nothing more)||Had a hole in the linen (although clean - no stains or anything)||Average breakfast||Bad internet and no-one could help me with it||Very small rooms - no even table to work at||||Finally, it is ok for a couple of nights stay but if you want something cozy and comfortable - better...
