Mega Residence Hotel — Hotel in Şişli

Since we had a conference at the Istanbul congress center we checked too many hotels at the area and finally my friend recommended this hotel. Upon checking the reviews they were all positively good so it's why we decided staying there. It was a small hotel at the corner of the road to the congress center (about 2-3 minutes walking) next to st Regis hotel. Room was spacious and clean and it contains all what you need. In one of the reviews some lady said I had the best sleep in my life!! Now I understand her meaning, room was really good and the bed was strangely comfortable and you feel the calm and quietness that you seek in getting far from home. Breakfast was simple and basic and the same every day but it wasn't disappointing. Around neighborhood having too many shops and restaurants and the city mall is 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. Go to the st Regis and take the road up and about 150 meters you will find small road to the right full of restaurants and bars and music.. we enjoyed that road many nights. A great location in Nisantasi, right next to the St Regis hotel. Walk into the Mega Residence and you wonder whether you have been transported back into the 80's. The furniture in reception is a real throwback. But here, and certainly in the spacious room sizes available, it is extremely comfortable. ||The bed I slept in was very comfortable. There was a very large TV screen in the room and the bathroom had everything. Good working space desk with plug-ins, too. Again, everything was large scale. ||Reception service was attentive and the stay overall was seamless. Would I recommend? Yes to those seeking comfort, space and location. I reserved this hotel based on previous excellent reviews and boys they where right on. The pictures you find online does not show the reality of how nice is this hotel. This hotel is a boutique cozy relaxing quiet one. The service from the front desk is outstanding. They welcome you with a plate of fruits. Room, sheets, towels, and bathroom are extremely clean. The A/C is working perfect and the room can get really cold if you want. Water pressure in the shower is perfect. They have fridge and water boiler. Bed mattress is so comfy .
