Worst dining experience in Istanbul. We arrived at 10pm exactly, and were seated outside to wait for a table freeing up inside. However, we were made to wait for about 35 minutes, which didn't bother us in the least. When we were eventually seated inside, they had placed an extra seat on a two seater table. We sat down and asked the server to place our order. As we started to speak, he immediately shut us down by saying that the kitchen was closed, and had been closed since 10pm. That really irked us, because we had waited for 45 minutes at this point to order. We hadn't ever even been told when we were seated outside that the kitchen had already closed. When the server told us, we tried to ask him why they hadn't told us, and he becamed flustered and asked the manager to speak with us. When she came, she was quite rude and kept shutting us down when we tried to explain that we were not angry about the wait, rather, the fact that no one had told us that the kitchen was already closed. She kept saying 'Sorry I can't do anything about it this is how it is' without even listening to us. The only one thing that I did like was the ambience. I'm sure the food would have been good, and the drinks even better, but the service was definitely appaling and absolutely the worst I've experienced in Istanbul. (At least mention on google that the kitchen closes at 10 and there's only drinks from 10-1am. Or keep a...
Read moreWaiting staff is friendly and sweet. If you haven’t, you should definitely try one of their cocktails. For me their classical cocktails are Mule 19, The Bride and Alamut and they will never fail you. They have a variety of food. Healthy options are lovely, I think they can improve bar foods and snacks a little. As far as I can see, No.5 has two problems: it’s almost always too crowded and sometimes the other customers are impolite. But I don’t know what could management or waiting staff can do about these two. Joker No.5 has a lively, busy and friendly atmosphere with good cocktails; ideal for friendly gatherings. It is not the best option for dates or...
Read moreThis is a fantastic bar in Nişantaşı, a trendy and upscale neighborhood in Istanbul. The prices are extremely fair compared to many other places, which is rare in this area. I loved the crowd, which was lively and friendly, with a mix of locals and tourists. The food was great, with a variety of dishes from Turkish and international cuisine. The portions were generous and the flavors were delicious. It's definitely my go-to bar in Nişantaşı, whenever I want to have a fun and relaxing night out. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good bar with good food...
