The hotel has a beautiful design and stylish atmosphere. The view from the pool is truly stunning, and the bed was very comfortable (though it only came with one duvet). It was also a nice touch that housekeeping often folded towels into creative shapes after cleaning. There are two elevators, and the on-site Noa Bar & Restaurant hosted regular events that added to the vibe.
A big highlight of our stay was definitely Noa Bar & Restaurant – the staff were absolutely fantastic, the food was great, and the cocktails were some of the best we’ve had. This team truly elevated our experience, and they deserve a separate review of their own – thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!
We also appreciated the friendly porter who helped us with our luggage on arrival without being asked – a kind gesture, although it felt a bit awkward as tipping seemed expected.
Unfortunately, there were quite a few issues with the hotel itself. It felt like it had opened in a rush, with unfinished details like plastic film still on doors and poorly applied grout in the bathrooms.
We had booked a higher-floor room with a sea view, but at check-in, we were incorrectly told we had a land-view room. After pointing this out, we were given a different room, which was classified as sea view but had a very limited view due to trees.
The room was not clean. The shower leaked, the toilet had no hygiene seal, and basic items like cups and glasses were missing. We were moved to a different room the next day, which had those amenities, but overall housekeeping remained inconsistent. Toiletries were not replenished at all during our 10-day stay – not even the hand soap. Some of the small bottles were already used when we arrived. The refillable shower gel dispenser ran out halfway through and was never refilled. Eventually, our hand soap was just topped up with water instead of actual soap.
The air conditioning unit was placed directly above the bed and leaked whenever used. We had to move the bed away from the wall and place towels underneath to avoid puddles on the floor.
Breakfast was underwhelming. Hot items like scrambled eggs were not kept warm, and meat options were extremely limited. While we understand pork isn’t served, even simple alternatives like turkey bacon or chicken sausage would have improved the offering.
We had asked in advance about sunbeds at the pool, since the area only has around 14 for the whole hotel. We were told it wouldn’t be an issue, but in reality, there were problems every day. Guests often couldn’t find space, leading to awkward and uncomfortable situations.
Another issue was the atmosphere at the pool during the first few days. There were two children constantly jumping, screaming, and disturbing other guests. One of them even jumped onto my back while I was swimming, trying to ride me – it was painful and completely inappropriate. The hotel advertises a 12-year age limit at the pool, but staff explained that this only means children under 12 must be accompanied, not that they're restricted from using it. Luckily, the children were only there during the first few days, and it was much more peaceful after they left.
In the last few days of our stay, the nearby Sky Bar opened, and it played extremely loud music that echoed through the entire hotel. So if you're looking for a quiet or relaxing stay, this may not be the right choice.
Summary: This hotel has great potential thanks to its design, views, and the excellent Noa Bar & Restaurant, but our experience was let down by unfinished details, poor housekeeping, noise issues, and inconsistent service. With better management and more attention to guest experience, it could become a great...
Read moreNumo Port Hotel, Alanya, - one week during a very hot July - our first time in Turkey.
Numo Port is approximately 2.5 hours drive away from Antalya airport. We arrived late in the evening & recognised the hotel from the red telephone box outside. First impressions - very clean exterior and modern. We were met by a valet/porter outside who took our luggage straight away & took us to reception. The reception staff knew who we were & quickly got us checked in. We were taken to our room which was on the 2nd floor. The porter put the air con on for us and showed us around the room. We were given large fruit cookies as he left. The double bed was comfortable and had a medium firm mattress - similar to UK type. We had bounce back pillows & a summer duvet. We like a duvet, no matter how hot it is. Complimentary bottle of water, tea bags, coffees were provided which were topped up daily. A stocked mini fridge was provided which had room to put our own food items & drinks in. Ironing board with iron, hairdryer, slippers, dressing gowns, shampoos, conditioners, sewing kit, etc were left for us to use. Plenty of room to store our luggage. Bathroom was spacious and very clean. Shower was mains powered & powerful. Our room had a balcony and faced the harbour. There were three drying bars on the side which we used to dry our swimming kit. An amazing view from the balcony. We sat out every evening & watched all the goings on, drew & wrote. The call to prayer was beautiful. We specifically chose this boutique hotel because we didn't want a pool & sun lounges etc. We wanted to be in close proximity of markets, shops, restaurants. A little beach is approx. 5 minutes walk away. The Red Tower is next to it. The historical castle ruins is about 30 minutes walk up the hill. There is a busy road outside, which quietened about midnight most nights. When the balcony door was shut & curtains closed, could hardly hear anything - we slept through but awoke to open the curtains at dawn to see the beautiful view again. Yes, the air con is large & can be quite loud but as air con engineers, it was not too bad. We were grateful for it as it was 38°C by mid morning most days. There were aspects of the hotel which were very warm but the reception area, dining room & bar areas were cool. Breakfast was in the large dining room. Crisp linen on the tables. A large variety of foods were available, mixture of Turkish & European - cereals, breads, pastries, yogurts, a wide range of fruit & veg, eggs in different forms, meats, hot & cold beverages. Again, we had a lovely view each morning from the windows. We didn't eat in the hotel during the evenings as we were out exploring the local area and the villages. ALL the staff members in the hotel that we encountered were attentive & helpful to us throughout our stay. We had informative conversations with them about life in this area. As this was our first experience in Turkey, we had a really positive experience at the Numo Port which has given us thought to definitely return to the area again. We met another couple from the UK, who were also in agreement. Plenty to see and explore in the area as well as the villages, canyons and beaches which are not too far away. Thank you Numo Port Hotel Alanya, Jet 2 & Tariq (our taxi driver & unofficial guide. Until...
Read moreA absolutely wonderful hotel in a perfect location. And for some of us, like me, the location also means a lot to a visit somewhere. There's a very small beach (about 100 meters wide) just a 5 minutes walk in the direction of the "Red Tower". Don't miss this! Feels almost like a private beach, and here the water is absolutely crystal clear. No sand, but rather small stones. Great place for a swim. The bigger "sandy" beach is a 7-8 minutes walk away.
There's a little store just beside the hotel where you can buy your snacks, drinks, ciggarettes, liquor etc. A 2 minutes walk and you're already in the middle of nightclubs, restaurants and shopping areas.
The staff in the hotel and the hotel bar was always so nice, friendly, and ready to help at the slightest wink.
Make sure, if you always go to bed early, to get a room not close to the Sky Bar in the same building. We weren't close, and we didn't hear a sound, it was dead quiet, perfect sleep!
My mom's birthday happened a few days after check in, and that day, as we arrived from the beach, the staff had put a bottle of wine, two wine glasses, a basket of various fruit and a birthday card in our room. Such a nice gesture that made her so happy.
Thank you all the hotel staff for making our visit great, and a shout out to the lady cleaner, I think her name was "Teria" or something. She was a real gem, and we had to give her a big tip. Also the the nice handsome young boy who parked the cars and...
