This is one of the hotels of all time. One of THE HOTELS of all time... I had a mixed bag of an experience staying here. + Location. Need the metro, 5 mins walk. Need the bus, 5 mins walk. Need the tram, less than 10 mins walk. Lots of nearby shops too. + Service* For the most part, the service was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Although, there was that one.... (More on this later) + Breakfast. I enjoyed it, nice selection, I was happy with it. + Room* Decent size, bed was pretty comfy, pillow was a bit too soft for me, but no big deal also the AC in our room worked great, loud, but it worked. (More on the room later) (Noticing a theme here? There's a caveat to most of the good points) Now let's get to the negatives! - Room. Filthy. The floor was gross, I walked into the room for the first time and took my shoes off, walked around the room for a couple of minutes and then realised the bottom of my once white socks were now black. All of the soles of our shoes were black, like the room had never been mopped before. The "slippers", if you can call them that, more like bits of paper to wrap around your feet, were pitch black underneath, covered in dirt, dust, hair and all sorts. 🤢 - Service. It doesn't give a very good first impression when you walk up to the reception desk and are made to stand there and wait for the guy behind the counter to finish his convo with his colleague before eventually turning to face you and talk to you. It's also not very nice when you're shown to your room, and the guy takes out his phone, and uses google translate to say: 'Give me a tip'. I didn't give him a tip, I told him I don't have any cash, I'll give him a tip after. Well a couple of days later during breakfast this same guy refused to allow me to fill up my small water bottle from the water cooler when others had been doing so over the last 2 days. Even the lady working in the kitchen was having a go at him and motioning for us to fill up our bottle but he was arguing with her, so we decided to leave it and just return to our room. It's a real shame to be honest, because the location is fantastic, not exactly picturesque, it looks somewhat rundown, but all the main sites are close by and getting around is super easy and convenient. But. Under no circumstances can I recommend this place. Avoid, spend a bit more of you can and find a better place. P. S. The photo is of my wife's slipper the day we were leaving to head back home. Also, did I mentionthat they had 'cleaned' the room during our visit?

We took three room with separate bed and that's what we wanted. The building is new and clean. The rooms aren't that big but those aren't small either. The only minus is breakfast in morning. Same breakfast everyday with limited items. But location is good. Nealy 500 mtrs away from Metro Yenikapi.

My review in all 3 languages

English:

I had the WORST experience with this hotel. I canceled my reservation within their stated cancellation policy, but they still charged my credit card! When I contacted them, they falsely claimed I didn't cancel on time, even though I provided proof. Their refusal to honor their own policy is unacceptable and shows complete dishonesty. If you value your money and peace of mind, AVOID this place at all costs. Shady business practices and zero accountability.

I even went to the hotel. It is in a dark zone. The hotel doesn't look clean and it looks in general very bad. I will seek reimbursement through my credit card and alert the authorities.
