Sait İskender Laleli Şubesi — Restaurant in Fatih

I recently visited Sait Iskender Laleli Şubesi and overall had a good but not outstanding experience. The food was the highlight of the evening. The bread served at the beginning was fresh, warm, and nicely puffed, a perfect way to start the meal. The main dishes, especially the grilled meats, were flavorful and well-seasoned, offering a nice balance of authentic taste and generous portions. The rice and side vegetables were simple but complemented the meat quite well. For the food alone, I would rate this restaurant highly, as the quality and taste are above average compared to many other options in the Laleli area.

Service, however, left room for improvement. While the staff were polite, the attention to detail was inconsistent. It sometimes took longer than expected to get the waiter’s attention, and drinks or additional requests were not always delivered promptly. This created a bit of frustration, especially when the restaurant was not overly busy.

The atmosphere is decent but not particularly memorable. The dining area feels functional and clean, yet it lacks the cozy or stylish touch that could make the experience more enjoyable. Lighting and layout are quite basic, and the overall ambiance did not add much to the dining experience.

In conclusion, I would recommend Sait Iskender Laleli Şubesi mainly for its food, especially if you are in the mood for good quality grilled meat and traditional bread. With improvements in service and ambiance, this place could easily become a stronger dining choice...

Hayatimda en büyük kazik bugün burda yedim ! Bugün aksam (iki kisi) yemek yemege sait iskenderci ye geldik, bir iskender (kücücük porsiyon - 52 TL) bide karisik izgara (5 kücük tavuk parca ve bir yudum pilav - 67 TL) ödedik. Yaninada BIR PORSIYON icli köfte istedik (BIR PORSIYON 4 tane köfte - 14 TL sandik). Meğerse bir tanesi 14 TL, yani 4 kücücük Icli köfte icin 56 TL ödedik. Toplam 198 TL ödedik bu aksam ve karnimiz bile doymadi. Garsonlarda yaramaz ve terbiyisiz, küfür edip bagira bagira konusuyorlar aralarinda miletin önünde ve birinin bize lafi „SEN ne sandin, lira batti ve biz parasiz kaliyoruz“. Cok büyük terbiyisizlik müsteriye karsi, ve yemek porsiyonu korkunc phali ve kücücük!

Heute abend haben wir mit einem freund uns entschieden bei sait iskenderci zu essen. Wir haben für eine winzige portion iskender 52 Lira und für einen wirklich sehr bescheidenen Grillteller (bestehend aus 4 max 50gramm fleischstücken und einem esslöffel reis) 67 Lira gezahlt. Ausserdem hat man uns eine PORTION köfte empfohlen welche für 14 Lira aufgelistet war. Am Ende bei der rechnung kam die grosse überaschung, es wurde PRO KÖFTE abgerechnet also kamen wir bei 4 winzigen köfte auf 56 ! Lira. Uns wurde nichteinmal der Standart brotkorb gebracht und der ton in dem laden war assozial und Unverschämt (die kellner untereinander reden in Gossensprache). Wir wurden WORTWÖRTLICH angemault „warum es uns so stört dass wir für 4 kleine köfte 56 lira zahlen , da die türkei zurzeit eh wirtschaftlich schwach ist und irgendwo das geld her muss“. Der laden ist eine absolute schande und eine touristen verarsche/falle, NICHT HINGEHEN WENN IHR NICHT 200 lira ausgeben wollt und mit halb leerem Magen den laden...

they are profiteers .. I have never seen such a service, I ordered iskender + pistachio pizza, they brought me a cheese pizza instead of pistachio pizza , telling me there is no pistachio, I said I d'ont want it simply because this is not what i ordered.

I paid for this pizza in the bill !!! , knowing that I did not eat it at all and the most serious thing is that I paid the price for a pistachio pizza and not for the cheese they !! it's incredible. never again this restaurant...
