We had book BMK suits as a last resort due to sudden time changes to our flight and also the hotel was about 20 minutes away from the airport. I should also add, as we booked the apartment last minutes we didn't manage to account for all the people, we just needed a room for the children to sleep and rest up. So we thought it would be great to do our last excursion and then prepare for our 4am flight back to London. Upon arrival at the apartment, a lady (the manager’s wife) was just vile. She was speaking aggressively in Turkish, at this point I had absolutely no idea who she was. she then started to argue with our tourist guide and repeated said the word "bebek" whilst continuously pointing at the children in a demonising manner. We had three children, one of which was a baby. This lady was not speaking English at all, but it didn't take a genius to figure what she was saying, also our tourist guide explained that she was not happy with the fact that we had children. Her husband, the boss had already accepted the booking and told us not to mind her, and said that is his wife. The husband a very lovely gentlemen stated that it was okay and asked the porter to direct us to the room. Porter again beautiful person, who really tried to make us feel comfortable and really tried to look after us. We couldn't stand staying in a place where the managers wife was not at all happy with our presence and also the fact that we had children and so we left 12 am. Had she or the manager explained that we could not stayed or need to pay extra, we would have done that not a problem, instead a heinous women barking and pointing fingers at our children. I just can not deal with that at all. That was just disgusting. ||Looking back at the hotel website, it says they are happy to have children, they need to take that down, that is not the...
Read moreThe rooms are spacious and clean with everything you need. If you need to wash clothes there is a laundry room with everything you need, washer and dryer. The reception staff are all courteous and helpful and a big shout goes to Matt who treated us great throughout our stay. He advised us where to go and was always smiling and full of energy. An asset to your business!! Migros supermarket is 200 metres away and get yourself a card as you will get 10% off all groceries. Head across the hospital car park and head for the enormous Turkish flag and passed the Shell garage on the right hand side and you will come to a junction. Across the road on your left is the most amazing fish and meze restaurant , Belik Isa ( something like that lol) . The views are to die for and the food incredible, all at a good cost. Below from there you will see a hotel swimming pool at the QINN Hotel , you can use this lovely welcoming pool (as we did on our last day as our flight was in the evening) and their facilities for UK £15.00 for 6 hours. The food is good and the beer is reasonable in price. If you like burgers and cheap cold beer, head down the road (right at the junction from earlier) and see CEZ something as the burgers are excellent and the beer is only 40l. ||The taxis are all the same price and you can get to the old town for around £4.00. We headed to the other side of Antalya and it cost £15.00 return and that was around £20 miles roundtrip. Lara beach was disappointing as the beer was expensive at £4.50 a pint and then they had the cheek to charge us £5.00 for just sitting at a table aghhh. Oh well, live and learn. ||In summary, a great find in an area that feels safe and only a stones throw from attractions. Enjoy and say hi to Matt from me!!...
Read moreTo start off with when we checked in the guy was very unfriendly and even rude. Just barked at us. We were quite shocked. Nobody speaks English either. Didn’t expect them to but something to be aware of.||Only one air con worked. Sofa bed not made up even though paid extra and sent another message to request. Arriving late to have to make up the bed we had paid for was annoying.||Given one towel each per week and half a roll of toilet paper! |The whole apartment flooded when using the shower - which stank.||Says no pets but were often almost attacked by two little ankle biting dogs when we went to lobby. Owners dogs?||Beds are very uncomfortable but the pillows were nice. |||We were booked for 10 nights but checked out early and went to another hotel - even though we knew we wouldn’t get our money back for remaining days.|||Most important point!!! : says WiFi but BEWARE the WiFi is unusable!!Took almost an hour to load a mobile webpage before I gave up and it was like that all the time!! Incredibly frustrating considering the amount people rely on the Internet. Was the dealbreaker that made us seek alternative accommodation and our new hotel had perfect WiFi so unusable WiFi is not a countrywide acceptable thing.||No English tv which is not a bad thing but must be aware when it’s coupled with no internet. I had no data allowance on my phone for roaming so couldn’t even check my emails! This is a basic necessity for me when travelling.||Two stars awarded only because the room looked quite modern and had a nice design. ||Not a hotel for a holiday though. Not in...
