NEVER STAY IN THIS PLACE! MISERABLE!
This is the worst place you can possible stay at. Me and my boyfriend checked in 17 of April and we had a flight early morning next day at 6 am. We told at the reception that we are leaving at 4 am and payed $20 at the check in (to not waste time in the morning when we have to leave). At 11:30 pm there was a loud music and it was impossible to sleep and to take a rest before the flight. I came down to see what’s going on and the receptionist was getting drunk with her friends, I politely asked to turn the volume down because we had only few hours left to sleep before a long trip. But that’s the least what happened... THEN! When we woke up at 4 and our taxi driver arrived we went out of the room and then before the gate there were 4 doors and they ALL THE DOORS WERE LOCKED ON A HUGE METAL LOCKER. We tried windows we knocked every door shouted, my boyfriend open one door with his leg we tried all the keys we could find but nothing would work. The receptionist wasn’t there! We wasted half an hours and almost missed a $2000 total trip and all the preparation as Covid test and hotel reservation in other countries. 35 minutes later one customer woke up from our shouts and told that she might be at the ground floor. When we found her drunk she was sleeping peacefully in her warm bed and didn’t EVEN RUSH TO OPEN THE DOOR!!! This was the worst experience ever and could never happen anywhere else in the world. We told we have a flight maybe 3-4 times in the evening and still got this stress at 4 am instead of peacefully heading to the airport. That woman must be fired. And the owner should think twice before hiring other managers because you made our time at your place miserable.
Also the room was full of ants. And the mattress was covered with a plastic bag which made it noisy and uncomfortable to sleep.

Location is on a busy road, so could be noisy at times and sometimes loud music can be heard from the room even at night.
Service wise, Receptionist Faith is a delight, always smiling and greet us when she saw us. The other receptionist Lilian on the other hand, is OK when the boss is around, but give out attitude and feels rude at times.
We were told that a free taxi shuttle will take us to the airport, but was later told at last minute that we need to pay 20k shillings for the ride.
Giving this place 1 star for Faith's good service, otherwise, if I could, would've given 0 star.
Read some previous reviews after my experience here, seems like this hotel is a hit or miss, but when one is on holiday, would one like to take their chances?
Glad to see your response, would be happy to get a follow up regarding your airport shuttle taxi investigation. By the sound of your response, you didn't know about this case, it was all your staffs' decision. If this is the case, would there be similar incedent whilst you are not around? The notion of offering discounts for next hotel stay for the taxi fare already charged is absurd I am afraid, why not try offering HONEST hotel service and getting things right in the first place? after all, most ppl would avoid such bad experience next time and would not come back. Aslo did you know your staff Lilian tried to ask me for more money for my late check out (on the day of my checkout) even though we previously agreed on a free late checkout when we first arrived? All these little bits added to bad experience staying in this hotel.
