My son & I stayed for 2 nights before joining our tour of Uganda. ||||Pick up from the airport (included in the price) was very efficient. The hotel's location is great, just over the road from the wildlife-rich Biological Gardens entrance and close to a mall with a supermarket & money exchange. There is a lovely raised bar and resturant area looking straight into the tree tops opposite and the small grounds contain a few trees and shrubs. The food was very good. I especially enjoyed the tilapia, the coffee and the fruit. ||||All the staff were really friendly and helpful.||||Our only negative was that despite booking a twin room well in asdvance, on arrival, we were told only a double was available. We were offered a room in a sister hotel nearby (not quite as nice) and moved to a twin for the second night. They also applied a small discount to our bill. So we felt effort had been made to mitigate the problem.||||Both rooms were quite spacious, clean, pleasant and characterful with comfortable beds, a fan and en-suite bathroom, but staff couldn't get the safe working. ||||Overall this was a very pleasant stay and we felt it was a good choice for...
Read moreWe ended our two week serve trip in Uganda at the Precious guest house. The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities including a nice hot shower and large fan. Our group of six stayed in the two front rooms and a double room. We were all very comfortable and had good rest. There was a bar a few blocks away playing live music that was enjoyable on a Saturday night, and did not go too late in the evening. The bar is limited but has just what you need to enjoy being out on the patio. There is a mall and a market a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast and dinner are great and the service is amazing. Because the food is cooked fresh at the time you order it can take about an hour until you are served. I highly recommend ordering in advance to accommodate the timing. We will definitely bring groups here as a stop on the way to and from...
Read moreHonestly a must place to stay at if you are visiting Entebbe. A short hop from the airport with complementary transfers! Location wise was perfect for us before we road tripped around Uganda. Opposite the botanic gardens and a 5 minute walk from the Victoria mall which was great for getting cash and supplies. Car parking also available. 15/20 minute to lake side where there were a decent number of good restaurants to choose from although we found the food in the accommodations restaurant to be best food we had in Entebbe.
We stayed 3 nights overall at the beginning and end of our trip. The rooms were always spotlessly clean and well furnished. The breakfast was always top notch! Real coffee, amazing fruit salads and a varied selection of food cooked to order.
The staff were always friendly and happy to help....
