Imperial Golf View Hotel — Hotel in Entebbe City

The location is good, near to the Botanical Garden, the Covid test centre and about 10 mins drive from the airport. The room was large and clean but the customer service was very poor.||Staff were polite but offhand. Although we had a double room there was only one cup on the tea tray and there was no milk. When I asked at the desk for these items, I was told that 'housekeeping had closed. This was 7pm. My suggestion that someone get us milk from the kitchen was ignored.||We had a meal in the restaurant one evening and room service the next. On both occasions we had to wait an hour for service. My wife had asked for tea with milk. What arrived was a small teapot full of hot milk and no tea bag.||I had negotiated an airport shuttle of $15 for the two of us, instead of the $15 each advertised. On checkout there was a different member of staff who tried to insist on charging the full $30. Apart from the fact that most hotels in Entebbe offer a free shuttle, the episode left a nasty taste.||Lastly, the receptionist first showed me the amount payable as a calculator total and was reluctant to give me an official bill. When he finally gave it to me, the official bill was $30 less than he had tried to charge me!||I won't be staying...

Imperial Golf View Hotel is located in the city of Entebbe, approximately 42 kilometers by road, south of Kampala and also within a five - minute walk to the famous Botanical Gardens and a seven minute walk to the Wildlife Education Center (Zoo). The rooms are spacious and brighter in the newer wing of the hotel and the rooms in the older wing are smaller but still good enough but the air is a bit stuffy unless you turn on the air conditioner.

Their conference facilities are good but i think more improvement should be done on the floor tiling are threatening to "come off" when guests or participants are moving around.Internet access in the conference halls are great but in the rooms at the far end, its a bit annoying especially when you have to work late and in your room.

They have multiple dining areas and a bar. Loved their buffet options. The meals were delicious! A friend of mine loved their roasted beef, goat and fish fillet. Overall, we had a great team building session which...

This hotel has potential but it seems to be very neglected. Will start by praising the lovely and professional reception staff who handled my check in efficiently. However on getting to my room, there were no gowns, sandles, the AC was faulty and rather loud. The TV was ancient and not smart. The room size is more than ample with a good bed. The bathroom worked but is in obvious need of revamp. There are loose tiles in the room that creak when you walk over them. Toiletries were incomplete and the towels threadbare.
