Stayed at this Hotel for 2 weeks whilst working in Kampala and environs as part of a charity team helping deaf children in Uganda. I would say that 2 weeks is more than enough to get a proper feel for this hotel.||||Breakfast was a lottery as the only things that you knew would be on offer each day were fruit juice tea and bananas. I struggled to get cereal 9 days out of 14. The evening meals were also interesting as it seemed that they were actually prepared somewhere off-sight but they were OK.||||The en-suite room was also a bit strange. Double glazing that didn't actually close properly and so eliminated absolutely no noise from the busy streets outside. The basin had only cold water and leaked terribly onto the floor. The shower did have a hot supply but was hand-held so made things awkward along with the having to ask for an extra towel every day. The bed was great, super kingsize and made up each day although the instant going to sleep each night may have actually been due to the hard work we were doing. There was a television in the room at first, it didn't work but it looked good until it disappeared (with no warning) one day. There was wifi but it was pretty hit and miss in working.||||The staff on Reception, Maids and Dining area were all really super friendly to us mzungus and they did try to help. The young lady with the AK47 on the gate was also lovely and definitely my favourite security guard. We left them loads of fruit and food as a leaving gift. ||||To sum up, this is a poor hotel which is saved only by its staff who are all quite young and really eager to try and make up for the building's shortcomings and the ONE towel between TWO...

The customer care has tried to be good but they still have a long way to go.
The rooms need renovations; of all the double rooms we visited with the receptionist/room attendant, there were patches on the ceiling indicating that the paint is old and it has been soaked with water.
All the wall sockets in my room didnโt have power; I had to be given an extension cable which was then connected to a circuit breaker. My water heater failed to work at night and only worked in the morning after I fiddled with it.
The rack in the bathroom was weak and easily came off the wall; literally it was a hellish kinda night for me; coupled with cars passing along the road at night; i barely had good sleep.
I checked out first thing in the...
ย ย ย Read moreThis place has good security. Like a 6 out of 10. Ample parking space for over 30 cars. It has a 24 hour functionality. Well organised receptionist desk with very helpful receptionits stationed there for 24 hours. I saw a diverse population and mixed races at the venues with locals and foreigners gracing the hotel. Well dressed and organised waitresses and waiters. They have a fully functional bar and an ample conference room of over or about 50 individuals. The hotel prices are pocket friendly and very affordable. Actually if buying pax in large sums you could get discount if you talk to the manager. Their meals were really tasty especially the local cuisines we tried out. Their local cuisine buffet is a 9 out of 10. They have well organised rooms at affordable prices for all clients. Generally i give it...
