Practice what you preach||Noble is very nice, and we enjoyed our stay very much. It is a very welcome addition to Lutsk as a whole, but it is apparent that they don't see many International tourists. It is not enough to look good - you have be good. A fine hotel experience is not about interior design, it is about providing a finer experience and more professional service than elsewhere. Noble is very expensive by Ukrainian standards and market themselves being a luxurious hotel and bar/restaurant.||My family, friends, wife and I stayed at Noble for a whole week for my wedding. It was planned and booked well in advance, and the hotel was informed about the special occasion. We were even there a year in advance for planning. When booking, we kindly requested a group discount, upon which they offered us a 5% which was pointless compared to booking on Hotels.com. Upon check-in, the reception was always very nice by the way, my wife and I were given the smallest and least preferable room in the group. Strange, considering the hotel should have known we were the couple getting married. When we and the group asked about this later on, we were given the option to have an upgraded room for two nights, which we declined as it would be a hassle to move back and forth between rooms with a lot of luggage. They had simply not thought of it.||Service, service, service... The word most frequently used by our group when staying at this hotel, more precisely, the lack of it! When we visited them a year in advance, we found the bar/restaurant superb and unique. But something had happened. They had changed most, if not all staff. They used to have a great bartender and chef. Now, many of the waiting staff are totally inexperienced and not English speaking. The elegance, the details, the fine dining experience and standard of service was gone. More importantly, the professionalism was gone. They were unattentive and unable to coordinate the simplest of orders, even when we were only four in a group. The food is very good and sometimes very well presented, but rarely were dishes delivered simultaneously. We saw other guests being prioritised and receiving meals before us even when they had ordered after us. We were served a dish or two at a time, some people in our party were given food while others weren't. Some finished eating while others haven't been given food. And side dishes were given separately, such as vegetables, and going cold before the main dishes were served. Very odd and frustrating. There was one professional waiter though, Andriy, who helped us a lot. But Andriy, please, change your shirt once in a while, and use a deodorant.||So the days went - we enjoyed the beautiful hotel and used the bar/restaurant every day as it was a convenient and nice place for the group to meet, but the level of service was completely out of sync with the rest of the experience. Reception staff were very nice, but spoke limited English. Everyone was satisfied, but surprised how a nice hotel like this does not prioritise customer service and have trained staff.||There were also some odd design choices, such as weird placements of TVs in the rooms, makeup mirrors being to high up, handicap entrance and ramp goes to a normal door and staircase while the main entrance has a handicap friendly door but no ramp. As with so many hotels, we were asked to save water by hanging towels on the rack if a change is not necessary. At Noble, all towels were changed every day regardless. Even half empty bottles of shampoo and barely used bars of soap. We were very happy with the cleanliness and tidying of the rooms.||Please take this as constructive criticism Noble. We loved you and will see you again, but you need to train your staff! A little sign of attention is expected for a wedding couple. A wine bottle, a card in the room, a flower or simply a kind word goes a very long way and becomes memorable. This is what sets you apart for a luxurious experience. Customer...
Read moreIn August 2018 I had two very short trips to Lutsk and before my very first travel to Ukraine I called Noble Boutique Hotel with many, many questions. I was surprised about the helpful and caring voice on the phone and felt taken very serious - as for me a trip alone in a country which language I barely speak was an adventure. ||The same helpful and friendly young lady was waiting for me at the reception, when I arrived - behind me a sleepless night, 6 hours in an old minibus from Kiew to Lutsk and I was very tired but also nervous - and at once I felt more than welcome. ||The room was wonderful - modern but still in warm colours and not too small. Bathroom invited me at once and the rainshower was the best to do on a hot august day, I really enjoyed it. As well as the possibility to make tea (not only coffee!) in the room. ||Coming "home" late I really slept like a child - the beds are wonderful, smelling fresh, feeling good. Only the pillows are too big, this problem I have in many hotels and just use big towel from bathroom. ||Positive: one can switch climatisation totally off - and the room is absolutely quiet, no noise, nothing. ||Breakfast surprised me with fresh berries (try maple sirup pancakes!) and shakshouka, a dish I loved in Jerusalem. Maybe the "original" black bread of Ukraine was missing, but everything was fresh and tasty. Friendly service. ||It was really hard to leave from this wonderful place - I got organized a taxi to my minibus-tour (torture?) to Kiew and knew that for my next visit in Lutsk there is just no better choice possible. ||Already one week later I arrived again... at Noble Boutique Hotel Lutsk - and all experiences were again: perfect! ||Hope to...
Read moreLutsk isn't the most obvious destination in Ukraine for western European travellers but if you are here, then I would recommend this hotel. ||||Very clean, airy rooms with new beds, good air-conditioning and well decorated. It fits the description of 'boutique'. Also centrally located.||||A big shout out to all the front desk staff, unfailingly helpful and pleasant with a good command of English. ||||I thoroughly enjoyed my four-day stay here. Restaurant and bar prices are very reasonable (IMHO). Also very cheap was the hotel laundry service and clothes got returned within just a few hours even with normal (rather) than express service.||||The restaurant itself had a good menu to suit all tastes and even a few vegetarian options (not always common in Ukraine) although service was sometimes a bit eccentric e.g. courses didn't come in the expected order and sometimes all at once, although the service was quick.||||However, nothing than a small amount of man-management in this area...
