Disappointing Experience at Rixos Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi

I recently stayed at the Rixos Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi to celebrate my 40th birthday, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a significant disappointment. Despite requesting a special arrangement for my birthday, the hotel failed to organize anything, leaving us deeply dissatisfied.

The staff appeared overwhelmed and unable to handle the demands of their guests effectively. Service was slow and inattentive, far below the standards one would expect from a hotel of this caliber.

The food was merely average, lacking the quality and variety that one would anticipate from such an establishment. It was a letdown, especially given the high expectations we had.

For a region renowned for its hospitality, the experience at Rixos Saadiyat Island was particularly disheartening. Considering the price we paid, the overall service and experience were among the worst I've encountered in this price range.

Our stay at Rixos Premium Saadiyat was nothing short of extraordinary, making it the BEST experience we’ve had among all many hotels we’ve visited. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, and from the moment we arrived at the Club Villa, we were treated like royalty.

We had welcome drinks and the villa was designed for the occasion of our anniversary. The food was exceptional at both the main Turquoise Restaurant and the Clubhouse that is exclusive for villa guests. A huge thanks to Karim at the Clubhouse for his impeccable attention to details, especially in creating a memorable sushi tray that blew us away.

We must also give a shoutout to our butlers, Ezzedine and Mahmoud for their excellent recommendations and being available around the clock. We had an amazing time, and the entire Rixos team created a luxurious and unforgettable stay for the whole family. Definitely one of the best days of our lives so if you’re looking for a sign, this is it and stop looking.
