Beach House restaurant is the best. Looking to arrange a VIP dinner for 16 guests in Abu Dhabi, my wife and I naturally chose Saadiyat Island, the cultural hub of the Emirati capital and Middle East home of exclusive, international brands like The Louvre, Guggenheim, NYU, St. Regis, Rixos... etc. Saadiyat is indeed a 5-star island, but if you want to take it to another level, do yourself a favor and book a staycation at the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi or simply make a reservation at the Beach House and feel yourself transported to clear blue beachside paradise.
Ask for Restaurant Manager, Sid, Assistant Manager Biranti or the excellent Ms. Mary Jane. They offer extraordinary Mediterranean inspired dishes delivered with smooth old school service and style. For our intimate event, we selected a set menu served family style. The food was fresh, delicious and kept coming, one course after another. Between courses our guests stepped out on the deck for cocktails and a smoke. The sun was setting. Instagram was catching fire. Drinks flowed, the music was chill and our guests fell enchanted under the glow of brilliant Abu Dhabi stars. It was a magical experience and we plan to book a table with Sid & the crew at the Beach House every time we are in town. Cheers guys!...
Read moreAwful. I hate leaving bad reviews for places that seem to care, but just are really screwing up on every possible level. The worst part was the food. I have eaten at the other two restaurants at the Park Hyatt and they are fantastic, I don’t know why the food in this place is so terrible. Even the kids menu was awful. 95 AED for a dry piece of small chicken and a side salad from a kids menu that was dry, bland, with half the leaves shriveled and dead. The other two salads we ordered were utterly flavorless. The quality of the leaves was awful, it felt as though it was made by a ten year old. The fish they brought out was not cooked properly and the server who deboned it had no idea what they were doing and left half the bones in. On top of that, they are doing nothing for pest control. I am not exaggerating when I say there were maybe 200 bugs attacking our food. I have been to multiple outdoor restaurants on the Saadiyat strip and yes, bugs are common, but just a couple. My WHITE fish had become DARK, that’s how many bugs were sitting on it. Literally hundreds of bugs, I’m not joking. I had never seen anything like it. We RAN out. Waste of an afternoon and money....
Read moreFor the first time living in Abu Dhabi for next two years, my friend and I decided to have dinner at Saadiyat and of all the hotels we chose the Park Hyatt and their Beach House restaurant. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, especially at the end of October with the breeze from the beach it was great to be outside. Although we did not stay at the hotel, there was such a relaxed atmosphere that it seemed like we were one of the guests. But the food and service were a little disappointing. The waiter was very kind, but she literally came up more than five times to ask if we liked everything, while we were sitting with our mouths stuffed with food. It is clear that the employees have service standards, but it is better to approach them not when the guests are chewing their food. We also ordered pasta each for almost 150AED and the pasta for this price was of very poor quality, my friend and I did not like it at all. I will most likely come to the Park Hyatt again for dinner, but only in Mate, but the Beach House did not win my heart, only...
