Disappointing experience. Let's start with the good things. Great signs to let you know where the beach is. Finished the good part. There is underground parking space and you have to pay for the parking. You have no choice to park anywhere else. 42AED what makes it kind of expensive. The staff in the parking is not well trained, they have absolutely no change and no card machine on them. My question to the management: how did you think this will go? Everybody would have 42AED, exactly to pay for the parking. Great thinking. There are only 2 elevators to take you to ground level and no AC so if you get there in a busy period you are suffocating while waiting for the elevator. Once you are up the beach is quite open but unfortunately, you can not go willy-nilly, you have to go to the invisible entrance. Look for the outside AC system for the not so pleasant woman, collecting the entrance fee of 75AED. And with that this beach becomes the most expensive (public) beach 42+75AED and now you can have high expectations. For that money you are not getting anything, I mean the beach itself is nice looking, the water is clear the sand is nice and with that all nice things are finished. The lounges and umbrellas are far from the water. Once you are out of the water you have to climb a mountain and you end up being fully covered in sand till your neck. Enjoy sunbathing! They should really separate families with children and others. I mean it is quite nice to listen to the "open-heart-surgery-with-no-anesthesia" screaming children. Nobody is on the beach to relax after all. Or the individual’s stereos refusing to use headphones. At one point, we had 3 different music blasting. No security around I had to called a number, I found on the internet. I made a complaint and 10 minutes later, the blast stopped. That was good. We ordered food from their soul menu. It is not very exciting and if you are a vegetarian or vegan, you have very, very little choices (watermelon would be a great choice!). The prices are ok on the menu. The instructions on regarding food collection is terrible. Food collection is not at the entrance! I repeat, it is not at the entrance! You have to go to the exact opposite side of the beach. That is not signposted. Keep it in mind, it is a big beach, and that is a lot of walking. I ordered French fries and my friend had the mac and cheese with spring rolls. French fries were dry and cold by the time we got them; see the very unattractive picture of it below. The spring rolls were super oily and they forgot the drinks. There we go... extra walking. AND NO WET WIPES!!! I mean who needs to clean their hands anyways. Oh and the cooking time for these tricky things were over an hour. In addition, no other option to go for! No shops, no other restaurants around to choose. The shower and washroom can be far and only very limited amount shower and toilet for that many people. It might not be Covid proved. On my way to the bathroom, I heard the woman at the door wanted to charge 75AED for an entrance at 6PM... I mean really???? On the way to our cars, the parking staff questioned us if we paid for the parking. I had to show the card payment receipt. I did not see any receipt given to others. How could they prove that they paid 10 hours prior? There was a lady being very honest telling them that she only paid 15AED (cos staff had no change no card machine) in the morning therefore she needed to pay some extra. They had a card machine now but she could not pay with a card. It had to be cash. I helped her out cos it was a torture and they could not give change back from 30AED. Seriously? The barrier was not moved for us to leave. What is that? Overall the beach is ok but not worth the price. Management needs to train their staff cos the service there is close...
Read moreThis has got to be one of the best beaches I have been to, & I have traveled most of the Caribbean Islands. This pristine beach has soul, literally. Transparent clean fresh water, white soft sand, turquoise & various shades of light blue. Please note that I gave a rating of 5 stars for the beach only. I visited on a weekend & paid an entrance fee of 75AED (included access to sunbed, small table, & parasol), the warm welcome set my expectations a bit high for a minimal service specially since you are invited to notice the QR code on the table to access the food & drinks menu. When time came for me to place an order I was asked to walk all the way to the entrance to pick up my order. This was disappointing due to the long walk on hot sand distance. Also made the menu look basic & overpriced. On site, showers and washrooms. To optimize your experience: bring your own cooler with ice (ice is provided for 5aed but no buckets), & fill it with your drinks & snacks to avoid going thru the hassle of burning your feet like I did for a bottle of water which was much needed when I ordered it. The service men will set you up and cleanse your sunbed but will not check up on you if you need a parasol moved or shade zone adjusted. Prep your muscles for a work out. I didn’t allow these little disappointing details to ruin my time. The shore is long enough to take a walk, feet in wet shore sand or very shallow clear water. If you enjoy collecting shells, you’ll find a variety on the shore. Recommend you visit this little peace of heavenly...

Write the review for Soul Beach on Saadiyat Island. Beach is beautiful but as a regular visitor I can say that there is no upgrade for a while now. Umbrellas haven't been changed for years now and are mostly broken and very dirty. Chairs are comfortable but outdated. For a paid Beach it should be much better entrance is pretty expensive but facilities are less than average.

Soul Beach: Paradise with Potential for Improvement
Soul Beach is a stunning stretch of coastline with fine sand and clear waters. However, as a frequent visitor, I've noticed a lack of upgrades recently. The umbrellas, which are a must for escaping the Arabian sun, are looking worse for wear. Many are broken and visibly dirty, detracting from the overall experience.
While the loungers are comfortable, their outdated design feels out of place considering the beach's premium pricing. For a paid beach with a relatively expensive entrance fee, the facilities fall short of average expectations. Neighboring construction sites are not helping either.
Overall, Soul Beach offers a beautiful beach setting, but improvements are needed to match the price tag. Upgrading the umbrellas and refreshing the loungers would significantly enhance the...
