First time visit and it wont be our last. On arrival the entrance was very light and warming. Staff welcome was very friendly. We booked via booking.com for 2 nights dinner and breakfast on both days, a standard double room. On check in we were complementary upgraded to a superior suite, so it was a lovely surprise. We left the car and decided to walk to the room first. The room was part of the back of the hotel, past some conference suites on the next floor up. It was newly decorated, two single beds pushed together so the bed was huge. TV, desk, mirror, hairdryer. Nice touch of having dressing robes, but we didn't use them. There were crisps and drinks on the table but we weren't sure if these were complementary so again didn't use them, a sign would have been good to know. We drove round and parked in the rear carpark was easier for unloading. Booked a table in the restaurant for the earliest 6pm. We got £29 pp dinner credit on each night and the food was wonderful. We had, Mushroom bruschetta, sourdough bread and dipping sauce (shame rapeseed oil and not olive) olives, nachos to share for starters. Had burger, fish and chips (chips lovely homecooked), and a Caesar salad for main so came to £20 extra to pay with two drinks £12.40 staropraman. Next night we had 2 salads, again Caesar, carrot fennel salad, a bit more fennel would have been able to taste it. Main belly pork, wow this was a beautiful piece of meat and the cabbage was lush. Cheeseboard and banoffee pie for desert. On both nights service was brilliant by Euan (Fri) Emily (sat). Wasn't rushed and food arrived in good time. Saturday we used the pool, sauna, steam room all very clean. Breakfast was buffet, coffee was ok and drinkable, if you wanted it stronger just add an extra espresso. Usual fair, nice addition of porridge. Would have been a good option if other egg choices were available rather than just fried, and the bacon could have been a little more cooked. Hash browns again better oven cooked than deep fried, but all my personal preference. Plenty of other options breads, pastries, yogurt, fruit, juices etc. The room was comfortable, doors a tad noisy as you can't pull the handle down for a softer close so a few bangs, but we slept well. For the bargain price of £233 for 2 nights and food, we were extremely happy. Looks like the hotel has done a lot of updating, decorating which all costs time and money. Highly recommend this place for a lovely break away. We...

Overall, a very poor experience. I would not recommend this hotel if you have kids, from our experience this hotel is not family friendly at all.

I booked a Wowcher deal for a 1 night stay with dinner, pool access and breakfast for our anniversary, and for my toddler who absolutely loves the pool. Like many of us we're a hard working couple and had finally taken a bit of time off to enjoy some quality family time. When I arrived at reception I was told in a very rude and abrupt tone by the man at reception (ironically not wearing a name badge), that "you should have called us if you have a child staying" - I'll attach an image of the fine print on the deal where there is NO mention of calling, it just says to book a superior room if going with a child which is exactly what I did.

After checking us in, I was then told by the same (hardly receptive) man that my child would not be allowed to visit the pool, and that the child swim is from 9am -11am - the check in was at 3pm! And we were then told only leisure club members would be able to use the pool the following morning and that there was no children's pool access on the day we check out! So the very entertainment and relaxation me, my husband and my child were looking for was paid for yet denied to us, and NOWHERE on the fine print does it mention any form of restricted access to the pool. Me and my husband couldn't use the pool because we were upset that this was supposed to be a family experience, and where were we supposed to leave our 2.5 years old child to go gallabanting in the pool ourselves exactly??!!

The worst part was that there was zero empathy, and I was close to tears as we had waited for this trip for so long and travelled far. I later checked in the leisure club itself where a kind lady checked with manager, but the manager still declined without speaking to us directly. I categorically would not recommend this hotel for young families.

I'm offering a star for the ambience and the food which was good, and the evening waitresses were lovely but the manner in which we were spoken to at reception and the fact that we paid for pool access we couldn't use really let this hotel down. Extremely upset with...

We have just had our wedding at Eastwood Hall and if I could of given 10 stars I would do. The venue was superb, great location, beautiful surroundings, quiet and easy to find that made it very comfortable for everyone attending. The facilities were fantastic with plenty of close parking, easy access for mobility, and plenty of space for large groups so it never felt overcrowded. The food was exceptionally good, not only for the wedding but in the restaurant as well. What really touched us and many of our guests however were the unbelievably friendly and helpful staff. A special mention is needed for Beth as our coordinator of the day with Caitlin assisting, as they were just superb. Their professionalism and organization were outstanding meaning the day went so smoothly, yet if we needed anything they were right with us to help. There were so many small touches they thought of so nothing became a problem, from finding accessories to sorting bouncy castles in bad weather. They were both so friendly too adding such calm to what could be a very intense event. It is very rare to find a business were the service is so high yet at Eastwood Hall we were just impressed at every step as were our guests. Our day was planned by Diandra who really sold it to us thanks to her clear knowledge and understanding, then the reception were so warm and welcoming, as we're all the team serving, and assisting, and we even had a chap just come and help decorate late the night before. Nothing seemed too much bother for anyone yet always with smiles on their faces. Then before the big moment, everyone lined up smartly and made us feel we were in Downton Abbey! They spoke and looked after the kids, and so many of them kept coming up to us throughout the day and chatting with us like old friends. We really can't recommend Eastwood Hall enough. Thank you Beth, Caitlin, Diandra and all of the team for one of the best day...

Eastwood Hall gave us the perfect wedding. On the outset of our wedding planning we wanted to have a day that was easy, fun and beautiful; so we needed a venue to match. Eastwood Hall ticked all of our boxes and then some. With the wedding fayre at the venue the year before we were able to procure 90% of everything we needed from wedding planner to rings, with the remainder taken care of with the wedding package offered by the venue. Eastwood Hall’s Wedding Coordinator Holly did a fantastic job of putting everything together, keeping us both calm and informed as the day approached. She was more than happy to meet us in the run up, along with our wedding planner, and we always felt everything was in-hand. Amy and Holly were also onboard to arrange a special surprise for the ceremony which the groom had no idea about! This all went swimmingly and made the day even more special. Amy was on-hand the entire day and made us both feel content and supported. All of the staff were friendly with a special shout out to Chloe who served us on the day as well as for a family meal the evening before, she went over and above to ensure we had everything we needed. The day itself went incredibly smoothly with no hitch which is a testament to Eastwood Hall’s professionalism and expertise in running a day like ours. We’re incredibly thankful and would recommend them to anyone for their special day. We really did have the perfect day and would repeat it again and again if we could. Ed & Hailey
