i took the missus here for valentines, they were very busy because they do a buffet on tues and thurs but we were seated immediatley and we asked to order from the main menu.the staff were top notch and extremely well presented 3 of them made a special effort to have an actual chat with us and not your usual small talk nonsense.we had had poppadoms and mains with a couple of drinksand weren't left waiting ages like in some places. my mrs commentated on how good her massala sauce was and i was pretty wrapped up in the excellence of the lamb that they used in my bhuna. this place is in a different class to a lot of the other indian eateries in the vicinity,it's fair to say that it maybe a tad more expensive based on others in the area but i would rather spend a few more quid and be totally satisfied with my evening. everest is vast, well presented and has a great atmosphere.my only gripe ,and i'm being really pedantic here, some of the light bulbs don't match others hanging from the same lights, i would have rated the decor...

Ive been living in Cheltenham for years and never been to the Everest, so I thought id go to the buffet with my family.
I have to say how disappointed we all were with the food. There was not much choice and it was all very similar, some non descript meat in a out of the can sauce. I could have easily done better at home with some chicken and a tin of sauce from the supermarket.
The price was not cheep so I expected a reasonable menu, about 3 dishes, stale flat breads, (not nice fresh nanbread) and soggy chips. I have been to a number of other Indian restaurants in Cheltenham, they all were head and shoulders above the quality of this place.
It was a fairly quiet evening about 7.30 so no excuse for the poor quality, I will not be going back here All of the family thought it was the worse food we have had in...
Read moreJust had a home delivery from Everest for our family of 5 (3 daughters at 12, 14 & 16). We get a takeaway every week to treat the girls, but my daughters were not sure about getting a curry because they do not like spicy food. I persuaded them to trust me to order something tasty but not spicy. Everest did not disappoint.
The food was delivered in good time on a Saturday night (being in the middle of lockdown 3.0 they must be mad busy with takeaways at the mo!). There was a small error on the order, but with one quick phone call it was sorted in around 15 mins and many apologies for the delay.
The food was lovely, I am now full and content, and my daughters will deffo be wanting a curry night again in the near future. Well done Everest, you've converted my girls which means I can now look forward to more curries in the...
