📍 Holee Cow, Cheltenham.
HOLEE COW that meal was I N S A N E !! 🍔🍗
If i could describe to you the taste of everything today - it was Y U M M M M.
The place felt fairly new and it had a modern industrial kinda vibe to it, which was cool.
Had seen this place on here while trolling the gram & the web to find good foodie places to eat while in the Cotswolds & Oxford. If you head over to their Insta, you can see why I instantly booked. Their feed is amazing - full of juicy goodness! So I simply had to investigate. Not only do I (Anna) have fomo, but I most certainly have food fomo - does ffomo count? 🫣😂
We got there and delved into the menu which had so much choice (Posted on my stories, and saved to highlights for your ref).
Here’s what we went with in the end:
🍗 Kim Jong Un’s Single Burger £10.50 - Anna
Brioche bun, buttermilk marinated fried chicken breast, spicy miso glaze with toasted sesame, Korean hot Mayo, pickled red cabbage lettuce and spring onions (I held back on the red onion).
🍔 Holee Cow Single Burger £10 - Mark
Brioche bun, beef patty, American cheese, lettuce, tomato relish, gherkins, red onions & HC burger sauce.
🍟 Loaded Sweet Potato Fries £7 - Shared
Pulled pork, jalapeño, spring onions, chipotle & sweet potato
I know I’ve been posting from past times to restaurants/places, but I simply had to post without delay!!
If you fancy a day trip to Cheltenham or simply in the area, pop your head in here and tuck into some sumptuous and tasty food! @holeecowburgers

Read moreOpted here instead of Beey Boys as better veggie options and past two visits at Beefys Bath were underwhelming.
Small mistake ruined our visit; but food was amazing if you're eating meat. Skip if veggie.
5/5 - Special burger - loved this smash burger with pizza style toppings
4.5/5 - Escobar - messy yet yummy. We've never had guacamole but it worked
2/5 - Cowless - brioche bun was stale, rest was okay but had better elsewhere
3/5 - Holee - basic but good but would have been nicer if brioche bun was not stale
5/5 - Kim Jong-in strips - full of flavor and good amazing. Loved these.
2/5 - Jack fruit wings - dry and missing the sauce
4/5 - Loaded sweet potato fries - very nice and fries were cooked without the microwave taste
3.5/5 - Truffle fries - enjoyable but had a slight microwave texture to them. Not very hot either
0/5 - Vanilla Biscoff - Special request to have vanilla instead of banana due to minor allergy. Unfortunately banana was used instead which meant we had to eat up quickly to administer meds ASAP to prevent vomiting. No complaints as my youngest polished it off instead. We're lucky as not life threating allergy but others are not. Please take more care.
Overall I'd recommend this place for meat eaters without any allergies.

The Santo Maradona burger special is a thing of beauty (don't worry it's a permanent special). I recommend having smashed patties, although I'm sure normal ones would have very enjoyable too. The pulled beef was pouring out because of how much was piled on. The flavours were incredible and I love how messy it was to eat! The bun was super soft but held together despite the amount of juices coming out of the meats. A good amount of chimichurri and perfect thick crinkled gherkins too! I couldn't fault a thing about it.
I also had the loaded sweet potato fries. Lots of fries packed into the dish so a bigger portion then it looked at first sight! Again there was lots of pulled pork covering them and a good serving of chipotle mayo. The pulled pork was lukewarm though for some reason. Fine enough to eat but food should always come at least slightly too hot if anything really. The same could be said for the pulled beef in my burger as well. However, none of that stopped me from enjoying every last morsel of the delightful food in front of me!
The place itself has a nice vibe and is a good size. My server was really nice and efficient too. Definitely somewhere I hope to...
