Gloucester Place Studio by Roomsbooked — Hotel in Cheltenham

Didn't have a great experience at this place. Travelled here for work and the amenities in the room seemed nice on the website. Upon entering my room there was a strange smell. Tried to open window wouldn't stay open so I had to prop it open with a mug. I opened the microwave to find meat of some kind in there that had mould on it so I don't know how long it had been there but it was definitely the source of the smell. Also noticed the vent discolouration looked like a leak of some kind. I let the building know about all this to which the response I got was they're fully booked so they can't move me. No sort of resolution, refund or compensation was offered for the sub par standard I had to experience. This may be a one off occurrence for this property so definitely make your own decision if you want to travel here but I will not be going back...

Friendly check-in, but in another location a few minutes walk away. The room was fine for the price: desk; fridge; tea & coffee; microwave & accessories to warm up a meal; view of the neighbour's jacuzzi. However, the sound carried from the hallway: you could hear everyone coming and going or using the bathroom. One of the bathrooms had a blocked shower drain which led to a bit of flooding. I enjoy my stay with you. Solo traveller on business Helpful reception, central location, private, bed wasn’t too bad at all, you get fridge + microwave. you can’t really complain for the price you pay. I would like to stay again...
