Our visit was a one night stop over at the beginning and end of a five night stay for a wedding in Cheltenham. Check in was smooth for our online pre booked room, very friendly staff. Our room was in a new block, lift operated, within easy walking distance of the main reception area. Everything in the room looked new, excellent shower room, hot water and 'push' soap for sink and shower including lovely fluffy white spotless hand and bath towels. The large double bed was extremely comfortable, with two pillows each and one spare if required. Air conditioned room with easy to use controls, hanging space for clothes, hair dryer and the usual coffee and tea making facilities, TV on wall and two chairs. All very clean and corporate looking. The only downside for me personally was that the windows were fixed and cannot be opened but the AC was fantastic. The attached Beefeaters was a short walk away, 2 mins, with outside seating area. Excellent choices on menu. All areas covid friendly and felt safe everywhere we went. Lakeside shopping centre attached with a great range of shopping and eating out places to try. Would definitely use Premier In the future

I spent a week here and most nights were great but from Friday night onwards we had interrupt sleep, also mould in the room and bathroom. Good night guarantee definitely not - noise from people shouting in the early hours of the morning and noise from equipment from other rooms and noise from the heating system in the corridors. The option was move rooms at midnight when you are already in your nightwear and pack all of your stuff and children and move. Oh let me not forget that the room is also not ready so you have to wait for the room then move and it's already after midnight. My phone picked up the sound of a phone has picked it up it's loud. The sound could be heard throughout the corridor at every unit, so moving was not going to solve that problem. Let's not get started on the food, I have had better food from a school canteen, salad was drenched in only what can be described as watery salad cream and you ask for steak medium rare and you get it medium well. The quality of the meat used for their meals needs to be looked at again and new suppliers found someone who can make tasty meals!

My Wife and I only stayed here for One night but the room was clean and very comfortable. We stayed in a Family room. It had all the amenities that I required. T.V. Tea and coffee sachets, hair dryer. There may have been a press to press your clothes but it wasn't something I looked for so cannot confirm. The hotel has ample parking space. There were two buildings, one with the reception where the receptionist was very polite. Then there was the outbuilding only a short walk away. This is the building we stayed in. This building does not contain the main restaurant but does have a snacks machine in the foyer. In the photos of the room looks a little messy, that's because I took the pictures the following morning.

It I could give 0 stars I would||||The good night guarantee is simply a lie!||||Upon arrival there were 2 masked men on a motorcycle cruising the car park. One got off and started trying car doors. After a few minutes and no luck he got on the bike and they drove off. Both our family including a 2 year old and a couple of other men in a van had remained in our vehicles effectively trapped for fear they could have been armed. ||||When we reported this to reception we were told it happens all the time and there’s no point reporting it to the police because they do nothing! The receptionist also stated on one occasion she had had to flee the reception area because a man armed with a machete entered!!||||We insisted they called the police which they claimed to have done but we were not interviewed and despite numerous requests premier inn guest relations have refused to provide the crime reference number.||||Needless to stay we barely slept for the duration of our stay - waking to every noise and movement - and this was after deadlocking the doors and putting obstacles in the way of windows and doors to try to protect ourselves - especially as we were on the ground floor!||||To add insult to injury halfway through our stay we were forced to move rooms impacting our stay even further as we were moved closer to the car park.||||We let reception know we were unhappy about all these issues and just got a tough luck - it happens everywhere - it does not! The good night guarantee is simply a lie!

Upon arrival there were 2 masked men on a motorcycle cruising the car park.

The receptionist also stated on one occasion she had had to flee the reception area because a man armed with a machete entered!!

We insisted they called the police which they claimed to have done but we were not interviewed and despite numerous requests premier inn guest relations have refused to provide the crime reference number.

Needless to stay we barely slept for the duration of our stay - waking to every noise and movement - and this was after deadlocking the doors and putting obstacles in the way of windows and doors to try to protect ourselves - especially as we were on the ground floor!

To add insult to injury halfway through our stay we were forced to move rooms impacting our stay even further as we were moved closer to the car park.

We let reception know we were unhappy about all these issues and just got a tough luck - it happens everywhere - it does not! We have stayed in premier inn across the country and overseas and it has never happened before!

We requested a refund under the good night guarantee and Toni at guest relations told us the car park is not their responsibility and they would not refund.

Utterly disgraceful.

DO NOT STAY HERE EVER!

7th-8th April’23 l was taken here last week for an 80th Birthday surprise by my family. I left Doncaster 60 years ago but have always called it my home town. When l was younger & could drive myself l visited regular but as l have got older visits have been very rare. Then Covid came & l thought l would never see Doncaster again. My family decided to take me for my surprise 80th. The staff made every effort to make it wonderful for me they were all so kind & friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of my brothers local family turned up and my sisters family from Cambridge. We stayed for two nights my sisters for one night. It was so wonderful to see them all and l had no idea. They all kept coming in at different times. We had drinks in the bar & lots of chatter. 26 off us all sat down for dinner that evening we all ate differently from the intensive menu but the service was excellent and the food beautiful. The staff brought me my delicious chocolate brownie with a candle In and they all sang Happy Birthday to me and gave me a lovely Birthday card and a box of chocolates. They did their utmost to make us feel very welcome. I had a lovely room, clean excellent bed and all very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless & l would say very new. I went for breakfast the next morning & the manager said it was on the house because it was my Birthday. I don’t do breakfasts it all looked lovely but l was so full from the night before. I had an orange juice & a latte & lots of chatter with the family. A Big Thank you to all the lovely staff for their kindness nothing was too much trouble for...
