From the moment I arrived at Blair Villa Bed and Breakfast, I was enchanted by its charming ambiance and beautifully decorated and curated interiors, which exuded warmth and welcome. The owners were friendly, warm, and helpful, making my stay not just comfortable but truly memorable.||||Although the room was on the smaller side, it was cozy, with an updated bathroom with hot water and admirable water pressure – a true luxury after a day of exploring Oban. The breakfast, a delightful assortment of yogurt, croissants, fruit, and granola bars, was conveniently delivered daily to the mini-fridge in my room. While it was not a hot breakfast, it was thoroughly satisfying and the perfect start to my mornings.||||The bed deserves a special mention for its comfort and the fluffiest pillows. This B&B's prime location in Oban is unbeatable, and while there is no designated parking, finding a free spot was surprisingly easy during my visit.||||For anyone considering a visit to Oban, I cannot recommend Blair Villa Bed and Breakfast highly enough. It truly represents what a B&B should be – charming, comfortable, and with a personal touch that makes your stay unforgettable. Superb stay! Hot and strong shower, bed and linen were so comfy! You can adjust your own heating in the room, which is electronic, meaning the temperature can go up really quickly. The location is Central, only five minutes walk to the ferry/train station, but super quiet. If I run down to ferry, it only takes 3 minutes! I tested. The view in front of the house is amazing! You can see Mull and the sea.

There is a mini fridge in the room. Due to covid, they only provide to-go breakfast, which is a shame. They had a french press and coffee powder, and several types of tea. The bathroom is luxurious, with both over head shower and hand shower. Shampoo was provided.

The owners bought this house in 1996 and take good care of the house. They have been renovating the house, and I can tell everything is perfect!!! It makes me wonder whether they are perfectionist.

They are so kind to allow me to leave my luggage on the day I checked out so I could go to Iona with a hand luggage.

The only down and minor thing might be if would be good if the to-go breakfast is less sugary! Because I wouldn’t be able to finish them. Other than that, everything is beyond expectations!

Absolutely lovely place to stay. My husband and I stayed for just 2 nights before tying the knot in Appin. We arrived early and didn’t expect to be able to check in until the booked time, but they went out of their way to accommodate us early. The room was very nice and clean, and the whole property was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and has amazing character - also with a fantastic view! They also supplied our room with tea, coffee and a mini fridge pre-stocked with some breakfast/snacks! The property is quite close to everything, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go in Oban from the property! We couldn’t have picked a better...
