We wanted a few nights near Dolgellau for our Wedding Anniversary and found Brynfynnon through an online search. Made contact with Betty via their website and made a booking. Betty and her husband have extensive experience in providing accommodation with a number of years in France and they are well-travelled enough to know what to expect and what to provide.||We had the double room with spa bath and everything about it was simply perfect: the bed and bedding, the bathroom, the views out of the windows and how clean and well-organised everything was. Breakfast was choice of cereals, yoghurts and fruit along with a cooked course from the full Welsh(?) to poached eggs on toast. Plenty of fruit juices, tea and coffee. Lovely service, friendly conversation, simply perfect.||Before we left we were talking about another stay in the future: it really is that good and we've stayed at excellent establishments in many other places. Read moreWe had a very enjoyable stay here. It is a beautiful house, and the hosts were very welcoming. We had the twin room, which was large and, as it is on the corner had two windows giving plenty of light and a mountain view from one. The bathroom (including a bath) was also very spacious. There is a very nice garden with comfy furniture which can be used by guests. The area is so quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was good, cereals, fruit and freshly prepared full cooked breakfast. This hotel is very difficult to find, I would suggest reading some of the reviews on Booking.com. or asking the owners...

We had room 1 which is the largest with a king bed and so comfortable. We had a separate bathroom with stand alone large bath and walk in shower. |The b&b is up a narrow road which was not easy to negotiate as there were also road closures but we got used to coming and going. It is only few minutes walk to Dolgellau centre where there were great pubs and eateries. Walks can also be done from the doorstep. |We enjoyed drinks and chatting with both the hosts and other guests who are encouraged to mix at breakfast and in the lovely cosy lounge in the evening where the real...
