This wine shop was recommended to me as a great place to enjoy a cup of tea and knit for an hour or two and it completely delivered. Downstairs there is a fantastic wine selection, as well as a lot of other goodies, and some fab seaweed gin. There's a lovely little seating area, with a really nice light and happy vibe. However it's upstairs where the magic really happens. Climb twisting stairs to discover a maze of tiny rooms, each beautifully appointed with sofas, armchairs and all sorts of unique little bits - including a spinning wheel! I discovered this place by accident but it is easily the most neuro divergent friendly cafe/bar I have ever been too. The little rooms allow a degree of quiet, and help reduce the noise and stimulation normally associated with such a nice cafe. Read moreMy wife and I came here to buy Welsh whiskey. The lady working here helped us out with different descriptions even though she wasn't very fond of whiskey herself. She let my wife try 3 different bottles they had open and was overall extremely friendly and welcoming.
We talked about our holidays and she drew us a tour on a piece of paper of places, she thought we might like. She also handed us a a sheet of paper with all the places who have food around in the area.
What a nice shop to visit and have a chat. Of course we bought the whiskey...
