The food is amazing- have something different to what you’d normally have because this is incredible and authentic! Sheek kebab was perfect, I had the murghi mossalla which was perfect, the egg nearly put me off but it was boiled and initially I pushed it to the side but I did end up trying it and it wasn’t what I thought, I don’t know why I thought it would be any different to a boiled egg in a curry…maybe to much wine at the wine bar? My other half had chilli chicken mossalla and she really enjoyed it too. The chef came out and said we order what he orders and ate exactly this last night. Glad we swerved a very British norm of korma or anything else typically British. It was a quiet place, a few came in for takeaways. It is Christmas Eve Eve, so that could be why. We love curry and have eaten curry all over the county, we make it and have our Aunties who cook traditionally too - they’d love it, we loved it. Would come back again if it wasn’t 5 hours away from...

A strange place in our opinion. Unlicensed so cans of soft drink only, with no glass offered. Payment is cash only and the servers had little idea of the items on the menu when questioned. The food was better than we expected and was definitely acceptable although the slight scorching on the top of our sauce covered dishes could indicate re heating of some description? The staff were polite although inexperienced and when we left the premises, nobody saw us out or responded to our farewells. The cash payment (and tip) was collected without any word of thanks, even after we told the server to keep the change (10%). There is a standard white goods fridge freezer next to the bar area in the restaurant, which could be better to be disguised with a curtain or simple screen, but it's presence sums up the place. Probably won't be revisiting. To reiterate, the food...

Waited far, far too long. We were told 45 minutes for collection, arrived promptly on time 45 minutes later to pick it up, only to then be told repeatedly "just another 5 minutes" over and over again for the next hour. All told, it took nearly 2 hours from placing the order to finally receiving it. The order was not large or complicated (4 people, nothing custom or non-standard), and the restaurant itself was very quiet. Worse still, there was a very upsetting lack of urgency from any of the staff. When we finally got it back home, the food was quite good, though there was a minor error with the order and the chapattis were burnt. As you can imagine, I couldn't quite face going back and waiting for them to fix it... Unfortunately, the decent food was utterly let down by the wait and complete lack of transparency with regards to how long it was...

The food was alright, my Korma wasn’t the best I’ve ever eaten, however Dupiaza, Jalfrezi, Dhansak and Sag Paneer were really nice. Naan bread was not my favourite either and the waiting time was unexpectedly long. We came in a large group of around 10 people, but the restaurant was empty, so we assumed it wouldn’t take that long. We waited for 1 hour and 10 mins for the food to arrive and nobody mentioned anything about it before we ordered, or even in the meantime.

Much needed delicious curry after hiking Snowdon! We ordered food for takeaway & the staff were really helpful when advising what options were gluten free. I had chicken Balti curry, onion bhajis & vegetable rice. My friend had a vegetable korma, peshwari naan and pilau rice. Both of our meals were super tasty and all homemade. We really enjoyed our food as well as the service and would order from here again if ever in the area!

After listening to our fussy requests for a hotter curry, an outstanding saag was delivered and devoured. Very attentive staff, quality food and a lovely taster menu of favourite combo made for a great visit. We have a caravan in Barmouth, and after a disappointment in the local, decided to travel up. Now, will not be going anywhere else. 10/10..cannot comment on atmosphere really, as we were 1st in on opening
