Booked a single room here to break a journey further up North. |The house and all the rooms I saw were really beautiful and decorated to a high standard. Beautifully clean and comfortable and the little extra touches such as the desk fan next to the bed just put an extra shine to it. Sandra, my hostess, was really lovely. Friendly and always on hand to help if needed. Wow what a great find. We used to own a successful guest house and always feel others don’t live up to our standards, but wow they were exceeded here. Great communication prior to arrival and a warm welcome awaits when you stay here. The house is immaculate, well decorated and the ensuite room was very relaxing, well furnished and super clean. We stayed here for one night to attend a function locally. We were welcomed with wine/beer by Dougie who also kindly drove us to the function. Our room & en suite were tastefully furnished - someone has excellent colour sense - and breakfast was plentiful, including nice touches such as freshly prepared berries & grapes.
