From the outside this cafe looked very inviting. We chose a table near the window so we could enjoy watching the world go by.

It did take a while for someone to come and take our order. My husband ordered a small breakfast and I ordered a breakfast roll, alongwith 2 teas.

I honestly cannot remember having been to a cafe before where the tea is brought to you in glass mugs already made. A little strange not to be served tea that you can brew to the strength you want, amount of milk, etc. Also as being brought to the table alot of the contents were sloshing onto the floor.

My husband enjoyed his breakfast, thank you. The roll my food was served in was rather floury and dry.

The cafe is very well laid out with plenty of space between tables. However it is very echoey and became very noisy when only a handful of people were in there. There did seem to be alot of staff working and almost falling over each other. This only added to the increased noise levels, especially when at times they seemed to be duplicating each other which lead to a lot of confusion.

Not sure we would vist...

Aye, let me tell ye about Batty's Baps – a real delight for yer taste buds, ken! When I first laid eyes on this wee place, I was pure excited to get my hands on one of their scrumptious creations! And, dinnae fash, even though I was the last customer in afore closin' time, they greeted me with a bonnie smile.

Now, I went for the chicken salad sandwich, and by God, it was massive and filled me up a treat! But, mind ye, they've got a grand selection of other options – wraps, panini's, hot and cold goodies, soups, and salads – a proper feast for any appetite! And the best bit? It's bonny value for yer hard-earned coin!

And I'll haud my tongue if I forget to mention the tidy cleanliness of the place – spotless as... a dalmation that's lost it's spots!!!

So, if ye fancy some drool-worthy grub that won't cost ye an arm and a leg, Batty's Baps is where it's at, lads and lassies! Head on over and...

At first glance I thought ooo looks decent, plate presentation ok, no dressing for salad though. Rather disappointed, milkshake was warm not even tap water cold but lukewarm. My daughter asked for no bacon her slop covered fries which were simultaneously burnt and soggy, limp salad and I had a veggie pamnini dry panini which wasn’t panini it was bread? Cheese n mushroom I’m still perplexed how toasted cheese is dry but it was cold. I got a Diet Coke as couldn’t drink milkshake, I drank from tin as glass was dirty. I don’t generally like to leave bad reviews but things can’t be corrected if honest feedback not provided. Cost £17.60 I always leave tip but didn’t today as my daughter stated no bacon and she had to sit picking it out, as I had already said about milkshake she didn’t wish to...

Fabulous café in Dingwall. The produce is all local and prepared on site, except for the cakes, which are home made. We turned up as two cyclists wanting an early breakfast and were very impressed with both the food and the hospitality. We had a couple of small Scottish breakfasts and found them to be universally excellent - you know it's good when the black pudding is quality stuff. Will very happily go back next time I'm anywhere near Inverness even if it meant a bit of a drive. Pro tip: it's used by the locals, so you might have to chill for a few minutes as they get through the orders.

Went here for a quick bite, nice looking cafe. Don't be put off by all the condensation. Decent menu, prices are fair. Husband was delighted only £2.90 for a cappuccino. Bacon and black pudding roll was good. Tea served in a mug, as I am a fussy tea drinker🫣 I never had anything. Will say the cheese scones looked good. When we were in the boss was making sure the workers all had jobs to do. One person was even tightening the chairs with Allen keys😂. Would go back.
