What a little gem this place is. We will definitely be back! Firstly, we were met by Bryan at the door welcoming us and showing us around the property. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. We then met Anna who was born in Glastonbury and together they made us feel so welcome. They are clearly passionate about their B&B and making people's stay the best it can me. The location is excellent being at the foot of the famous Tor and within walking distance of the town centre with all its unique shops and tasty restaurants. Speaking of tasty: Breakfast. Was. Fantastic! Bryan you are an amazing cook, even if you won't admit it yourself. And Anna, your homemade granola with yogurt and fruity topping was amazing! They made a plan with my youngest daughter's unusual breakfast request and we felt that nothing was too much trouble. The rooms themselves were clean, the bathrooms and shower were great as well as the lounge/sitting area which was well stocked with books and interesting things to keep even an 8 and 5 year old engaged. Thanks for having us and looking after us Bryan and Anna, it was lovely to sit and chat with you both after breakfast and we are just sorry we had to leave. But as I said, we will be back and look forward to staying at your...

Access to the Tor just up the street, the chalice well just under 10 mins walk away. ||Greeted by the host and was instantly put at ease. Genuinely interested in plans and very friendly. ||The room was set as I asked. Compact but not small. Great modern bathroom. However…..what a view! Lucky enough to have fantastic weather and the plains rolled on for miles. Stunning. ||A great nights sleep, comfortable beds. ||Breakfast, just wow. With that lovely view. Had the porridge with fruit, beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble. Had the full English with a few sneaky extras with toast and home made jam. Honestly, the best breakfast in a long time. The spoon!!! ||All in all a great warm friendly B&B, lovely rooms, best breakfast. Only negative, forgot to buy a jar of jam!! :(...
Read moreThis review is LONG overdue (Aug 20-21, 2019). Anna and Bryan were, by far, the hands down best hosts we had in our entire stay in the UK. We stayed in 6 cities in 7 days throughout England and Wales and no one else compared to Anna and Bryan's hospitality and personality. From the quality of room and walkable location, to the homemade breakfast and vineyard vista-we wanted for nothing. They truly love what they do; and it shows. To this day, we still try to re-create Bryan's toast but can't seem to master it :). Would absolutely stay here again! P.S. While it may not be a big deal in the UK, as an interracial American couple, we would rarely feel comfortable staying at a B&B in a rural part of the States, but Anna and Bryan made us feel safe and comfortable. And that meant a lot. Thank you Anna and Bryan for making us feel like old friends! Hopefully we meet again one day.
