Any time spent at the Chalice Well is time well spent and well worth the cost of entry. There is currently a one way system in place which is well thought out and lets you see the whole of the gardens. We have been coming here for years and every time we take something away with us that we did not arrive with. It is a truly magical place and one where you can relax and be at one the the divine however you perceive it. The energy is amazing. Often we see people run round the Chalice Well and Gardens and they ate done in 10 minutes. This is not the way to spend time here. Take it slow, stop, breath, listen to the sound of the waterfall, the songs of the birds. Find a bench and let all the stress of every day life slip away and be refilled with relaxing energy. At the back of the garden you find the Chalice Well. The Well itself is secluded and tranquil. There are wall you can sit on round it or there are some benches a short distance away. You will hear the trickle of water and Bird song as you sit. The Meadow is a lovely spot to have a picnic or sit and read. The waterfall is beautiful and relaxing and flows into the bathing pool where you can enter the water from the well. It can be slippery so be careful if you enter. There are benches to sit on here to help in taking off footwear. The lion spring is where you can collect water if you have a bottle or just want to drink some there. In the main garden at the front there is an amazing water feature in the shape of vesica where the lapping sound of the water is mesmerising. To the side of the main garden is a small shop. This is excellent and contains a variety of goods, all excellent. They have a range of handmade items only available in the shop, a large collection of books, and some jewellery. There are also some toilets in the main garden. These are nice toilets although they can be a bit spider heavy if you go in the autumn. Your ticket gets you in all day so you can pop out and back when you like. There is No parking at the Chalice Well but is only a 5 to 10 min walk from the high street itself. It is a fantastic place to visit. If you have never been then I encourage you to go. If you have been before the go back again. A truly magical place.

Lovely peaceful place. Not the typical park where to sit or have a pick nick, but a more likely a mystic meditating place where to find tranquillity, relax, meditate, enjoy the benefits of its natural mineral rich water sources, have a sun bath, read a book, drawing, painting, or enjoy an interesting quiet discussion with your neighbour about the meaning of life as happened to me. The garden has natural green landscapes spotted around of many different type of plants trees and flowers, clean and well kept, which wakened up my wish to pull out a pencil and start a drawing ( which i actually did with great pleasure..) The Chalices fountain is beautiful and so attractive. It remind the shape of womb... It was shining under the sun spells and the benches around invited us to enjoy the relaxing jet of water while we lied down in the golden afternoon sun. We found also a lovely café and toilets by the exit side, and a souvenir shop in opposite side of the café area. From the Lion Head source comes out cold fresh drinking water which you can enjoy in place or fill up a bottle and take with you for an extra benefit. In the most shadowed side of the garden there is the red source which runs inside a low pull where you can submerge your feet/legs or arms for healing purpose, just be aware that the water is freezing also in summertime!! Upper, by the hill in a shadow hided point of the garden, you will find the Oldest Well ( some people call it the Santo Gral Well ). It is surrounded from a round sit made with ancient stones and a very mystic atmosphere which invite you to contemplate and meditate. It will come natural as happened to us.. It is been a unique and body/mind/soul regenerating experience which we promised to our self to repeat next summer ❤️

wow wow wow. The Chalice well grounds took me by surprise. simply stunning. As i walk in i had thought i would have a look and spend half an hour. was i wrong. i spent two hours here. this place has such a good vibe. a real peaceful atmosphere. theres many places to sit. i felt like as i walked from one area of the garden to another it was like walking into a different room. each as good as the last but with a different feeling. i started my walk by keeping left from the entrance. the flowers are so pretty. i saw two members of staff. a man and a lady. both are brilliant. friendly and helpful. a massive well done for the team behind this place. if your going to Glastonbury i highly recommend calling in and pay a visit to this truly magical place. like alot of places here parking isnt easy. theres plenty of parking but its pre pay. which im not a fan of. and a fair walk from this location. since leaving i have already made plans to return with a friend and a trip with my parents. there was a little extra atmosphere today because the Fringe is going on. so as i spent time here i could hear some great tunes being played. some light rock which was really fitting to the experience. my side mission today was to take a photo of myself with a special backround. i have the photo. i wont add many photos because it really needs seeing with your eyes.

Decided to take my daughter and her 8 month old twins to Glastonbury. It was a beautiful day and a 2.5hr drive. Never been to Glastonbury but heard great things about the diversity, beauty and how friendly the place was. We went to visit the walled garden, before entering I asked 3 staff members if it was child and buggy friendly, their not blind and twins are a little obvious. We were told "all are welcome". So paid my money, we were given a map and in we went. It was beautiful we sat under the large tree enjoying the surroundings. At not point did anyone complain. We decided to see where the map would take us. We went to the spring, there was a woman sitting, other people were around but this woman was huffing, tutting and sighing loudly, the babies were getting hungry and since this woman was clearly disturbed by us we decided to go to the meadow to enable my daughter to naturally feed her babies in a peaceful environment. It is important for them to have positive stimulation. This tutting woman stood and blocked our exit, she said she worked there and the babies were DISRUPTIVE so we're carnt go to the meadow, if my daughter needs to feed the babies she can go to the exit right next to unhygienic toilets, there she won't be disturbing anyone. Trying to compose my death stare, inner rage and the temptationto fast track her to her spirit, I explained to this woman that we asked if it was child friendly before entering and we were given a map. This woman who works there said the babies are causing a disruption which is not acceptable for the peace of others, she was trying to connect with her spiritual guide. My spiritual guide was by now digging its way up from the bowels of the earth. The woman was unable to give her name I think my spirit guide was silently strangling her. So, they were happy to take our money and give us a map, so flattered. And told to leave when my daughter wants to feed her babies in a natural way in a peaceful place, which turned out to be anti babies. So I drove my daughter to a place of peace only to be insulted by the ignorant and to sit by a pond. We left my daughter was hurt, angry and embarrassed, while her babies were hungry. On a more positive not the rest of Glastonbury  welcomed a mother who naturally wanted to...
