Whenever I visit SRM, I pop over to the Cafe. Usually it is a nice experience, although a bit over priced. Whenever it gets busy, all hell breaks loose. Today, during the half term activities in SRM (time when you'd thought the café would predict as busy) I waited 15 mins for a coffee and cake (after asking for it 3 times), and 25 mins for my food (after asking for it separate 3 more times). Complete shambles that could have been easily avoided if staff paid attention to taken orders, to customers sitting for ages at empty!! tables, and to orders that have been enquired about. Food had always been tasty but again, a bit pricey (e.g.panini with 2 fillings, as per picture = £8.50), especially with this speed and lack of attention to detail. Please fix it as it is not a normal service that I've experienced...
