Outstanding place to call home for a little while. Some guests have been here before and I can see why. It's tucked into residential. First arrival can park in driveway, make room for 2 small cars. Street parking is snug and doable. Lovely rooms, well decorated, simple, bright and airy with windows and a nice breeze. Green shrub, trees, and cute garden with sitting area. Bedroom has a latch on the inside. 1 bathroom/shower upstairs and shower downstairs. Both beautiful, modern and well maintained. Clean. Kitchen is well equipped with communal fridge/freezer and a small private one. Dining room is bright with a big window. Front door is always locked. Shoes off upon entry so house is always clean. Nice. Cathy is warm, friendly, supportive and does a great job of everything. It's a lovely quiet neighborhood, and I felt safe. Close to everything. I could see the Tor from my bedroom window. Oh and I absolutely Love the meditation room. WoW! Highly recommend this home for a stay. Enjoy!

Cozy, pretty room, very kind householder, view on Glastonbury Tor. I’d like to come back here :-)

I rang from New Zealand and booked direct with the manager Iris, who made a reservation for me and then sent me an email and confirmed it. I spoke to her again just before I left NZ to confirm again. the day before I was due to go to Glastonbury, I rang to tell the manager what time I would arrive the next day, and once again was told everything was fine. I arrived at lunchtime only to be told that the owner Valerye had cancelled my reservation nearly a week early. she did this for no reason, and did not consult her manager or tell her she was doing this. she booked the room at the same time for someone else. obviously she took a booking, was full, cancelled mine to make room for a couple, which means more money for her. I was told that Iris had gone to India, and the poor young woman who was now managing the place was left to inform me at the door. there I was on the other side of the world with no where to go and everywhere was full as there was a huge festival taking place that evening. the young woman was embarrassed and I was very angry. In the end the young woman gave me her own room that she lived in which had an ensuite and hosted me personally and said under the circumstances she could not possibly charge me. she took full responsibility for what the owner had done and said she should have checked the diary. the place is run down and shabby; Valerye is rarely there as she travels most of the time, and no longer cares about the retreat. so the ad for the place which states healing, readings, reiki etc etc etc is rubbish. I am a medium myself and there is absolutely no energy there whatsover. the back yard is scrubby and untidy and there is insufficient parking. there is no signage to show someone they have found the place, but there is a little sign saying camelot again the building on the ground. for Valerye to make out she is a spiritualist is a joke. if she wants someone to manage her guesthouse, she needs to let her do her job and communicate properly with her if she makes changes to the bookings. when Valerye cancelled my booking she didn't even let me know and she could have emailed me. apparently I am not the first person she had done this too. booking.com cannot be blamed for this as I never used them but made the booking direct with Iris who was the manager at the time. I WARN EVERYONE NOT TO STAY HERE AS YOUR BOOKING WILL NEVER BE SECURE NO MATTER WHAT...

The only reason I couldn’t give 5/5 review was because of the parking situation at the b&b. There are two carpark spots actually at the place which seemed to be permanently full except first thing in the morning however as the b&b is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac you can park a little bit away however if you have a big car eg 4x4 you may have a bit of an issue.||The only other thing to know beforehand is that your are asked to leave your shoes at the door and not to wear shoes throughout the house. Not an issue to us but some people may be funny about this.||We were welcomed immediately and shown to our room which had a first class view of the Tor and we knew it was shared bathroom facilities (one downstairs and one upstairs) and the whole place was clean and room comfortable. The room has a kettle and hairdryer in it and no tv which was refreshing and relaxing. Wifi code is written on the back of the door.||I had mentioned a few dietary requests at time of booking and was pleasantly surprised that not only had she remembered that, that she had bought breakfast supplies specifically for me. Very touched and would not have got that in any of the big chain hotels.||You can use the kitchen at any time you want to cook and all that is asked is that you wash up the dishes when finished. ||The meditation room is filled with amazing crystals and have a lovely energy and can go in whenever you want.||Was made to feel very welcome and would recommend to anyone who wants a stay with a more independent boutique feel and who don’t mind sharing a bathroom.||Thank you for a...
