The Best Afternoon Tea of My Life in Yarmouth! I recently stumbled upon the most delightful, affordable afternoon tea in Yarmouth, and I can honestly say it was the best I’ve ever had! From the moment I walked in, I was charmed by the cosy atmosphere and the warm welcome—but the real star of the show was the incredible spread. The selection of sandwiches was outstanding—fresh, generously filled, and with a lovely variety (think creamy egg mayo, smoked salmon ...). Each bite was perfection! Then came the cakes and scones… oh my! The scones were warm, buttery, and crumbled just right, served with clotted cream and homemade jam. As for the cakes, they were divine—moist, flavourful, and beautifully presented. From delicate Victoria sponge to rich chocolate slices, every treat was a little piece of heaven. What amazed me most was how affordable it all was for such high quality. Most places charge a fortune for afternoon tea, but this gem in Yarmouth offers unbeatable value without skimping on taste or portion size. If you’re looking for a perfect afternoon indulgence, look no further. This place has stolen my heart—and my stomach! I’ll definitely be back. 10/10, the best afternoon tea experience ever! ☕🍰

A Friendly Café to Have a Break We walked passed the guest house and it looked rather friendly (and just refurbished). We were welcome, looked after and had a lovely organic tea. In addition, we go to enjoy a super yummy home-made apple cake. The Jerih Guest House is definitely worth a visit. It seems to be a little gem in Yarmouth and we are looking forward to sampling some more of the cakes. If later on in the evening, the Gin selection looks very promising and I know it goes all too well with Fever Tree :) Cheers!

Had a 2 night stay here with our granddaughter, we were in the attic room, which is compact an bisuz, the room was very warm , due to the hotel weather we are experiencing, even with the windows open it was still warm, a fan might be in order. The host was most pleasant, engaging friendly and helpful, breakfast was beautifully cooked ,location spot on, a few pubs around the area, buses to Newport or alum bay regular. A throughly enjoyable stay.

Stayed in room 1. Previous review mentioned 'duel aspect views, Two windows, one looked into next rooms and flat roofs, the other over flat roofs and street.|No bin in bathroom, no shaver plug, extractor fan broken, tiny bathroom with no hooks or places to put things. Bed had a very old mattress and the springs were poor, ing through, uncomfortable nights sleep. Sheets/ towels were clean, but the duvet cover had suspicious white Mark's on it and clearly was not washed between customers, hence using sheets. Very cramped room.|Breakfast room did not get unlocked until 9am, so not good if a days walking or sight seeing was planned. Breakfast basic, the cheapest bread possible, the smallest bowl of fresh fruit I have ever had, no option to help oneself to cereal, My sister and I were extremely disappointed, very expensive for what we got. No dis ou t was offered even though I was told, the room is due to be up dated. All...

Stayed at the Jireh B&B

Fantastic location as central, but be warned revellers and church bells, deliveries and bin men will mean you will not get a good night sleep. Not helped by non fitting curtains so may as well have none at the window.

Beds comfortable, twin room number 6

Cleanliness needs a lot of attention, dust everywhere and not a days worth more like a months worth! Shame and no excuse.

Breakfast time 9 -9.30am only! Far too late when you have been awake since 4am (church bells this time)

No toiletries other then hand wash and toilet roll so take your own.

Owners very polite and lovely, just a shame cleanliness let it down.

We paid £130 for a night inc breakfast which...
