Had an enjoyable stroll along this well maintained wooden pier. Plenty of seats and a nice little shelter at the end. There's a 50p toll to help pay for the pier's upkeep, you just put a coin in the slot at the entrance. People who have made donations towards its restoration are remembered in white lettering along the full length of the pier. Saw a lot of sailing boats and a few anglers hoping for a good catch. Lovely views of Yarmouth and the mainland coast which is only a very short distance away...

Many things to see: crystal blue water, boats in the harbour and being driven in the water, families teaching their kids to catch crabs and people fishing from the pier. The floor is made of sleepers with a significant gap between them, so beware high heels going through and catching the toe of your shoe. I saw the gaps trip a couple of people.
