Tucked away on the bustling High Street in Edgware, Cloud 7 offers a refreshingly modern dining experience with a focus on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fusion cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the sleek, contemporary interior and ambient lighting set a warm and inviting tone. The restaurant’s name might suggest something ethereal, and in many ways, it lives up to that expectation.
The menu at Cloud 7 is well-curated, featuring a range of small plates, grilled meats, and vibrant salads. The standout dishes during my visit were the lamb cloud 7 special breakfast with bake beans in ketchup sauce and the grilled halloumi with pomegranate molasses—both perfectly balanced in flavor and beautifully presented. Their signature Mediterranean dishes for sharing, offering.
Vegetarian options are thoughtfully included, such as the roasted aubergine with garlic yogurt and a hearty chickpea stew. For drinks, the mocktail menu is surprisingly creative, with the "Cloudy Lemon Fizz" being a refreshing highlight.
Service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Staff are knowledgeable about the dishes and happy to make recommendations based on dietary needs. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined—equally suited for a casual meal with friends or a special occasion.
Prices are reasonable given the quality and portion sizes, with most mains ranging between £12–£18. While it can get busy on weekends, reservations are easy to make online.
In summary, Cloud 7 delivers a memorable dining experience in Edgware with its flavorful menu, stylish ambiance, and excellent service. It’s a welcome addition to the local food scene, and one that’s well...
Read moreAh yes, the classic influencer brunch spot. Looks good in photos, costs too much, and leaves you wondering what exactly you paid for. The vibe is rushed, the service feels more like you’re on a timer than out for a relaxing meal, and the food? Let’s just say presentation is carrying the whole experience.
Prices have gone up again, and for what? Over £16 for a breakfast that includes two eggs, one sausage, a strip of turkey bacon, a single hash brown, a few mushrooms (yes, I counted), two bits of halloumi, a spoonful of beans, a couple of cherry tomatoes, and some random chopped fruit. It’s the kind of portion that makes you think about stopping for a second breakfast on the way home.
Location-wise, it’s Edgware. Not trendy, not central, not particularly charming. Yet the menu prices act like we’re in the heart of Mayfair. I’ve had better value meals in actual upscale parts of London. This place is clearly designed for the photo op more than the food.
Service is intense in all the wrong ways. Staff hover constantly and rush you to order, then seem frustrated if you don’t decide within seconds. There’s no warmth, no real hospitality, just a strong sense that they want the table turned over as fast as possible.
At the end of the day, this is less about food and more about image. If you’re after something that photographs well but doesn’t deliver much else, this will tick the box. But if you care about flavour, value, or feeling welcome, you might want to look elsewhere.
Avoid unless you’re only here...

This review is for the restaurant
Walking in, cloud7 is stunning/wows you, the decor and ambiance is excellent! Though you have to find it first; as of this review, Google sends you to an alley, but they are located on the main road
Service was excellent, though they are going through growing pains as they are only a month old. I should also mention that there is a draft at some of the tables from the roof. They are aware of it and have heaters to compensate.
As for the food, it was delicious though a little backed up/slow (again growing pains).
We got 3 cloud7 full on steam, a veg full on steam, and a waffle with duck confit. We also got some mini pancakes compliments of the chef, more on this below. And all of was presented wonderfully too.
My favorite part was probably the vegetable sausages (hot, fresh, and very tasty) and least favorite was probably the hash browns (they just felt a bit over done).
We received complimentary mini pancakes because our food had been delayed and came out quite spread out. The chef (without our prompting) sent us the pancakes as an apology, and they were absolutely delicious and wonderfully done, a great way to end the meal.
tl;dr Overall, cloud7 has excellent service, wonderful ambiance, and great food. As they grow, they will improve and definitely become a 5...
