Monday 2nd October 2023

On the 12th September I sent feedback via a form on the website in regards to our stay. To date no one has got back to me but I have DM’d them on Twitter and had a couple of responses. Today the informed me that someone from the customer services will get back to me but unfortunately, on this occasion however, they wouldn't be able to offer a refund in line with their Good Night Guarantee as it doesn’t apply where you don’t have a great night's sleep due to hot weather and a lack of air conditioning, where air conditioning wasn’t listed as a facility at that hotel when booking.

It does show on Google Maps that there is AC in some rooms which is not the case.

What a cop out. —————————————————————— Thursday 7th September 2023.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times but even when the weather isn’t as hot as it is now the rooms are always hot. There is no A/C but they do supply a fan but this trip, the heat has been unbearable and no amount of fans help.

There was a fan in the room and we also brought one with us but even though we slept on top of the bed with the duvet on the floor, two fans and the windows open at night the heat is unbearable; it’s cooler outside the building. In the morning the pillows are soaking wet and we haven’t had a decent sleep for the past two nights; that is why I changed my rating to 1 star.

Although the staff are helpful and apologetic about the heat in the rooms; this will be the last time I stay at this particular Premier Inn.

Premier Inn London Twickenham Stadium - 29th December 2022 - 15:00

There are two entrances to the car park, you can turn into it from The Chertsey Road or via Percy Road. If you enter via Percy Road be careful as the road/ driveway is poorly maintain and there are a couple of holes that are quite big.

You can park just behind the hotel or in the car park in front of the hotel but this car park is also used by the customers of the pub next door.

Reception doors are on street level but are manual. The receptionist was polite and we were given a room on the ground floor. You have to use your room key to gain access to the room corridor, you just have to place the key on the door pad.

The room (14) was nice, the bed was comfortable and there were extra pillows.

The bathroom obviously needs some work carried out. The toilet moved when you sat on it and to the right of the sink the floor has a dip which goes down if you stand in it. Also there was mildew/ mould on...

We arrived at 9pm-ish after a long journey with two young children. Checked in & were given a family room, no. 10 (ground floor, facing out onto car-park/pub). It’s a terrible room, complain straight away if they try to put you in there, it’s a health hazard-it’s really humid & stinks of mould spores/damp. The bathroom smells of urine, it looks like it’s soaked into the floor/walls near the loo. The fact that a reputable hotel chain would put anyone in that room with the damp problems (which are known & long-standing as far as I can tell), far less young children, is unbelievable but is happening. I felt unwell & wheezy when I woke up the next morning & we asked to change room. At first it wasn’t going to be possible but then we were given a family room upstairs, looking over the back of the hotel, which was an excellent room. This is why the reviews are so polarised. There are good rooms & terrible rooms in this hotel & you won’t know what you’re getting until you get there. The reception staff are good, kind & embarrassed management were still allowing the rooms to be used, customer service people online are snooty & unhelpful. I’d suggest avoiding unless you are sure you won’t get one of the spore filled rooms, or that sort of thing doesn’t bother you. They charged over £100 per night for the room. We asked for a refund on that first night only (happy to pay for the room that was fit for habitation) but they are refusing to give it to us. Really...

Nice Hotel with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff

I missed a date from my booking and had to book an additional day and they were kind enough to allow me to use the same room which was enormously helpful

The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms come with soap and shower gel dispensers. The shower maintains a good flow of water and temperature at all times

The rooms come with large flat screen TV fitted with Freeview but they also have HDMI, USB, 3.5mm audio and composite video inputs which have a neat sockets on the desk

In addition the rooms come with heating controls and simple instructions so you can keep the room just right

The website states the hotel is on a main road and may become noisy but the rooms are all sound insulated (windows can be opened) and I have to say you could not hear the road noise at all

Breakfast was good (I only had continental so cant commend on cooked breakfast) with a good selection of cereals, fruit, croissants, fruit juice along with tea and coffee along with an extremely large porridge portions :)

The only negatives were they were late opening for breakfast one day which made me late and on another day they refused to serve Costa coffee in the morning but they had served me with Costa coffee on previous mornings

Overall a very...

The Premier inn model well in evidence at this location. Unfortunately, this location is obviously understaffed. There was some mould showing on the ceiling in the bathroom. Worst problem was the absence of air conditioning. The secondary double glazing was very effective at keeping out traffic noise from the adjacent dual carriageway, There was no air-conditioning, however, and It was not appropriate to open the window to cool the room down. Cooling the room down proved not possible, contrary to the notes left on the desk. The thermostat advised it could not be used for cooling.

Decent accommodation close to Heathrow airport. Cheap and cheerful, great room size, room was clean, located next to a pub (doubled as breakfast area in the morning), and no fuss check-in/check-out. Can get a little noisy at night with aeroplane noise and in the morning during rush hour traffic since it is located next to the main road, and no air-con; can be tricky in the summer. Would be fine if you're looking for a quick one or two-night stay though.
