stayed here for a night in a preston. absolutely BEAUTIFUL room! we stayed in the kensington. 2 big beds made up of 4 single beds, with drawers and lamps and charging places for phones and electronics. comfy couch with very comfortable pillows on it. a kitchen with everything you need, a sink, hob, toaster, bin etc. it even came with utensils and cups for drinks which is amazing!! two bathrooms, one with a bath-shower and a long mirror on the wall and the other bathroom with a stand in shower and a ring light mirror on the wall above the sink. we also had a little garden area with a seating area where you can just sit and chill. lots of space in the room, and different lights to turn off/on and a dimmer on the bathroom and bedroom lights. there was also a tv on the wall with a wide array of options to choose from as well as netflix, disney and youtube if that’s something you would like. we also got a welcome letter from the owners about checking in and out times as well as where the smoking areas are. prior to checking in we got the message which told us what code to use for the door which was useful. however, the only downside i saw in this hotel was that if you are on the bottom floor, you will be disturbed all day by the upstairs neighbours creaking as they walk around, and hearing when they use the toilet or shower. the lobby area as you come in was also very decorated and looked super modern with a very cool piece on the stair case handle thing. service can only be a 4/5 as you don’t actually interact with employees here, it’s all yourself, which i think is better in a way since it takes all the hassle out. The location was also a 4/10, i know they cannot help this, it was down an alleyway where you wouldn’t be able to see it unless you were looking. Though the giant sign saying “No.10” cant be missed. I would 100%...
Read moreJust returned home from a 5 day stay at No.10 Preston. I was sent by work for training and had to book a hotel that was central but with good public transport routes - This place was the absolute perfect fit!||My amazing experience started before I had even arroved, work sorted my room booking but I was unsure what room I had been allocated (with them being themed). I sent a little email to say this and if available i would love to see 'The Hunt' room. Before I knew it I had a reply stating as its available they were offering me it as a complimentary on this occasion! This is amazing service and made me excited for my trip. ||The room was outstanding. I say room, i mean apartment! It had a living room, 2 ensuite bedrooms, a third bathroom, small kitchen and a hallway. Each room has a smart tv in it. This was very much appreciated as being alone on thjs trip theirs only so much exploring I could do so my home from home had everything and more. ||A couple of nice touches is the sweet jar in the living room, the fridge being restocked or bottled water and fresh milk each day. ||Both beds have a remote controlled skylight above them, i loved this so much. My alarm would go off and in a couple seconds id go from blackout room to the room bursting with light!||The Hunt room is on the ground floor, their is a room next door which I think is a staff room, i was greeted on my way out to work every morning by the girls which was nice! ||All in all, I have nothing but good stuff to say about my stay. All the staff were lovely to me, the location is central and close to bus/train station. Lots of places to eat and drink around. But most importantly the room felt luxurious but relaxed. If I am ever in Preston again, I have...
Read moreOn a whole the place was good. Ideal spot for the centre downside to that is you can't park outside it you have to drive to a car park 5 minutes walk away and pay for parking. The room was great, done out with lovely added touches, like sweets on bedside table, lovely toiletries and coffee, tea and milk in the fridge so you can have a brew as soon as you arrive. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable no complaints there. The downsides were the kitchen only had one pan which made making our full English breakfast a challenge, we managed though, a toaster that smoked the second you plugged it in so we couldn't use it, not a great smell to have where you are sleeping, There's a pull out table to eat at but nothing to sit on so you have to kneel at the table to eat which wasn't great. You cant even reach from the bed to sit on edge and eat that way. Only one bedside table so that's not ideal for drinks especially when you have only the bed to sit on while your there. The walls are paper thin. First night we slept great but the second night I had no sleep due to neighbours coming home drunk. I could hear the talks that turned into arguments then I heard the making up after 🙉🤢🤣 not great at all this went on till 5am. So left feeling annoyed and tired rather than happy and refreshed. I would stay again for maybe just a night and I'd be prepared and...
