PRETTY DECEIVING !!! With the pricing writing above wrap or nan and 2.99 upwards for each so one .BUT it's 3.99p !!! because in small is writing nans 1 quid EXTRA !! chicken filling a bit poor ( half a chicken breast tops) plus the chicken was not fresh the nan was a pre packed one , not flamed grilled or made fresh it was a bit sticky and chewy , filling salad poor , the sauce a bit weak. The two onion barges microwave waved BUT tastied alright 2.50 p for two a bit dear they should have been 2 quid tops , next time I go in I will get a curry for 4 quid to see what it tastes like and I seen a 3.99p stir fry deal with a can of pop and it says chips, but 99% it will be frys , I can see the place doing OK , BUT the should make the pricing MORE clear . On what I got for the price in TOWN I would say about a 7 out of 10 , BUT I wouldn't get the nan again because not enough chicken, sauce weak ,salad hardly non exists and nan a pre packed one ( NOT FRESH) bit chewy and sticky ,the where staff polite and the shop was very clean inside and...
Read moreWent in for the first time and have to say everything available looked absolutely fresh and delicious! Decided to just try the 6 pack of vegetable pakoras. I thought they would already be fresh and hot but they were chilled as I was asked if I want them heated up in the microwave. I was expecting something much better ,just seemed like onion bhajis but the worst thing is that you can tell with their texture that they were not freshly cooked which is what I would have preferred. Think they are just cooked in the morning or possibly the day before but that deffinately ruins the whole experience as dishes like curries are still ok heated but not the sides like pakoras and samosas etc..😅 not only this.. found a strand of onion skin in the pakoras 🤔like how is that even possible ? . Not really feeling to get them again now🤷need to try the curries possibly they would be of...
Read moreWe decided to grab a quick lunch before making our way home and we are so glad that we did.
I had the Chickpea Curry and I can honestly say that it was the best one that I have ever had so far.
The gravy to chickpea ration was perfect, the spice level was well balanced to me. The consistency of the chickpeas were perfect too, not to mushy and not too hard.
To compliment the deal I chose a plain paratha and a chilli one (it was a tough call). The chilli to me was the best choice, a slight spice that went well with the curry, but very tasty on its own!
Lastly The person who served us customer service skills were amazing too. He was really helpful and friendly, just such a lovely person.
(I'm sad that you aren't it Southport, we glad you aren't far. Keep doing with you are doing, it's...
